The sound of heels against the wooden floors echoed down the hall and through the kitchen. Annabelle walked in with a sleek black dress clinging onto her curvy figure stopping just above her knees paired with a white blazer and her black red bottoms.
With her head buried into the clip board she didn't notice everyones eyes on her in the kitchen. Eyes following her every move, knowing not to disturb her when she was in her business mode. It was as if time stood still.
Wanda was cutting up some fruit with Sam leaning against the kitchen counter next to her mid sip of coffee, Natasha and Steve where both sitting down at the table.
They where enjoying their morning together eating scrambled eggs that Steve had made them. Just like Sam and Wanda they stopped what they where doing and stayed as quiet as possible watching as Annabelle made her coffee.
Still locked onto the clipboard making notes and crossing off items, today was a double shot long black kind of day, filling her large mug to the brim. With out any hesitation she popped another mug under the machine, turning around as hot coffee came pouring out.
Tension started to fade off the closer she got to the exit, without breaking eye contact with her board she shouted over her shoulder.
"Ball room, 2 o'clock, all of you" Before strutting off.
Taking a sip of coffee she noticed foot steps coming down the hallway, as she approached closer she peered up from her coffee to see a loveable figure. Dressed in dark blue jeans and a fresh long sleeved burgundy top. His hair was sleeked back in his attempt of a low bun with stray strands falling out.
Turning back to make sure they where out of Steve's eye sight Annabelle let out a giggle as she handed her clipboard and coffee to James.
Walking behind him she took out his tangled up hair, combing her fingers through so that it was nice and smooth. Running her hands from his hair line, collecting all the stray strands of hair she bundles it up between her thumbs and index finger. Pulling it tight to the nape of his neck she twisted the hair tie around securing it in place.
Walking back around she saw the warm smile across James' face, he could never get over how in sink they where and how much she cares after him. Placing a kiss on his cheek as she took her clipboard and coffee back off him she whispered into his ear.
"Coffee is waiting for you in the kitchen"

Three men walked out of the ball room as Annabelle walked in, a fresh floor to ceiling Christmas tree was sitting right in front of her. Letting out a excited squeal she ran over to it.
It was beautiful, green and lushes with fake snow sprayed on, looking as if the tree was pulled straight out of a wintery forest.
Boxes of decorations sitting around the tree ready for unpacking and placement. Checking that everything was accounted for she made a mental note to come back to it, it was the task she was most excited for but wasn't the most important.
Wanting to make sure that everything else was ready to run smoothly before decorating the tree, Annabelle made her way to the main bar.
Tony was standing there talking to a couple of the hired bartenders for the event, cross checking their capabilities and ages.
"Dad, you left me in charge. You can't go behind my back to double check everything"
Annabelle leaned up against the bar, placing her clipboard and empty coffee mug down she turned to the young gentleman, handing them a piece of paper.
"Can you please make sure that all 3 bars are full of stock, here is a list of whats needed at each bar. Any extras store behind here. It is also your job on the night to keep an eye on stock and make sure none of the bars are running low."
