Late last night after a week of crying and drinking all of her emotions away. Annabelle decided she was done feeling sorry for her self. It was time to move on, start a new chapter in her life. One that consists of her being a badass with super serum and telepathic abilities.

Pulling on some new sleek black and gold activewear, she flipped her hair into a bun and ran down stairs. Pouring herself a cup of steamy black coffee and making her self a breakfast spread.

Scrambled eggs, avocado, tomato and toast with a side of fruit and yogurt. Since the awakening of her abilities she is always hungry and always eating. A weird change to her usual eating habits, or lack there of.

Natasha and Steve waltzed in, hand in hand surprised by the site in front of them.

"Good morning love birds, I won't ask how your night was. Keep that between you two."

Natasha pulled up a seat next to Annabelle while Steve started on there breakfast. Eyeing her off with shock and concern, poking her in the side to make sure it was really her.

"Why are you so chipper? I heard you sobbing through the music again last night"

"I'm a new women, who needs a man to love. I've got you guys!" Annabelle stated shovelling in her last mouthful. "I'm heading into Manhattan to finalise the sale of my apartment and business. But catch up for a training session later?" She shouted out, placing her dishes in the sink.

Natasha nodded, almost afraid to say no. Embracing her brother in a hug and a kiss on Natasha cheek Annabelle strutted off with a bubbly bounce in her step.

"Was that just-?" Sam asked walking into the kitchen.

"yep"

"So, she not sad about-?"

"Apparently not" Steve answering in the same shocked state.

---

Walking into her old apartment everything was already being placed in boxes, she loved having the Stark title sometimes, everyone was so efficient. Signing the last of the realestate forms Annabelle called her dad as she hoped into the elevator.

"Hey Dad, does your offer still stand?"

"And, which one would that be Chip?" He responded in a questionable tone, they hadn't spoken since James left. He was also getting over the shock of being called dad again.

"For me to move back in and work with you?"

"Yes, that still stands but-"

"Good, cause I just sold my apartment - be home soon"

Not being overly thrilled at the idea of moving back and working with her dad but it was the only thing that would work short notice. Wanting her past life and reminders behind her. Also thought she should put her degree to good use eventually and being around the team everyday is an extra bonus.

Driving off heading back towards the compound Annabelle felt like a heavy burden had been lifted off of her shoulders. Even though she had hired staff and the business was practically running itself. After being gone for a couple of months and everything changing. It didn't feel the same.

--

Loud grunts echoed through the training room as Natasha and Annabelle spared in the boxing ring. Natasha hooked her leg over Annabelle, whipping her self up and around her neck. Classic Natasha Romanoff manoeuvre. Usually this was where defeat would fall over Annabelle but not this time.

Reaching behind her head she hooked her hands around the back of Natasha. Leaning down, she thrusted her arms forward, throwing Natasha across the ring, slamming into the side ropes.Natasha sat herself up, leaning against the ropes. Trying to gain the air back into her lungs.

Walking over Annabelle fell down next to her, looking like she was hardly phased by the 40 minute combat session.

"You know, I don't know how I feel about this whole super serum thing you've got going on." Natasha choked out between breaths. "It hardly seems fair"

"You don't know the half of it" Annabelle laughed out under her breath.

She was met with a questioning look from Natasha, asking her to elaborate. It was time. She needed to let people in, maybe they could help her gain more of an understanding.

" I have telepathic abilities"

Nat chocked on the comment, she didn't know what she was expecting Annabelle to tell her but it was defiantly not that.

"Um, what?"

"I can dive into peoples subconscious, read their thoughts, see memories"

'Is that how she knew about Bucky leaving?' Nat thought to herself.

"Yes, thats how I knew James left."

'That was a coincidence'

"Not a coincidence" Annabelle added, reading Natasha's thoughts. "Whats something I don't know about you? don't tell me. Just think about it."

Natasha sat there trying to think of something she hadn't already told her, but also something that she didn't care about her finding out.

Little did she know Annabelle could see her thoughts flashing by. The first night Steve said I LOVE YOU, the first time she met Annabelle, her first night at the compound. There was one thought that kept coming back though, something that Natasha couldn't quite shake.

"You have a sister! How did I not know you had a sister!"

Silence fell over the pair as Natasha tried to wrap her head around the situation, thinking about her sister but also how Annabelle was able to dig that far back in her subconscious made her feel uncomfortable.

Annabelle caught her worry, there must be a reason Natasha had kept it a secret and it was non of her business if Natasha didn't want to talk about it.

"How does it work?" Natasha asked, changing the subject.

"I'm still figuring it out. I can absorb peoples emotions but only if I touch them and I can read peoples thoughts focused or not and lately I can see peoples subconscious memories. but-"

"but?"

Now siting with crossed legs fiddling with her fingers she continued. "But, With James. Its like our subconscious states are connected, I can see what he is seeing, I can feel when he is near. We can even communicate inside his head if I concentrate enough"

Looking up and Natasha for some sort of guidance she was met with amused smirk, Annabelle instantly questioned it.

"It makes sense, your love for him was the thing that started all of this. Makes sense you're connected."

"Great, I'm literally stuck with him forever."
