Dazed and relaxed the five of them sat down for their light lunch of finger sandwiches and fruit. The girls where amused by the relaxed state the boys where in, slumped back in their chairs gushing over the treatment they both received.

"When the lady started rubbing my sore muscles with that hot oil!" Thor explained.

"What about when they put the hot towel over your face! I melted!" Sam added in, hand wavering around with excitement. "We should do this more often"

"I agree!" Thor stated slamming his fresh squeezed juice on the table.

Laughter abrupted around the outdoor patio, they couldn't hold it in any longer. Watching a god excited about self care was amazing. What monsters have they created.

Polishing off the food with flowing light conversation Annabelle took in the sensory around her. So peaceful and green, hearing every noise the wildlife was making around them. She would be forever grateful for the girls bringing her here after a rough 6 months. She was grateful for everything this four did for her over the rough 6 months.

The sun was setting as the buzzed group piled out of the limo, full of laughter and Champagne. Thor scooped Annabelle up explaining that a lady should never let her feet touch the ground on her day of birth. Squealing with flattery Thor carried her into the ball room where her surprise awaited.

Bright coloured streamers and paper flowers flooded the space. There was a large round table in the centre with sombrero hats at every seat. A large pinata was hanging from the ceiling beam with an over the top taco bar.

Skipping over Pepper placed the sombrero on Annabelle as Thor carried her to the table where a large margarita was waiting for her. Helping themselves to the taco bar everyone filled up their plates before taking a seat around the table.

Thor and Wanda sat on either side of her, Natasha sat next to Steve, Tony next to Pepper and Vision pulling up a chair next to Wanda. The rest of the group spread themselves around the spare seats.

Taking in turns of telling embarrassing memories of Annabelle over the years, Tony stood up to make a toast after the meal was well and truly demolished.

"Chip. I know we don't see eye to eye sometimes and the last 12 months have been a bumpy ride. But I want to say how incredibly proud I - We - are of you. Everything has been thrown your way this year, given you every reason to give up but you pushed through. Coming out an even stronger - and powerful women." Rising up his short class of bourbon he finished off his speech. "I know you are going to do great things as the newest SHIELD recruit but know, us here, your family. Will always be there for you."

"To Annabelle!" Everyone cheered, raising their glasses.

Fuelled up with spicy food and tequila Annabelle picked up the rainbow colour stick and headed for the piñata. With the idea of holding back on her strength Annabelle was spun around blind folded, completely missing the first three swings.

Once everyone had a few arounds they took off he blind fold telling her to destroy the thing. Two big wacks and the colourful cardboard exploded everywhere. A variety of treats and glitter exploded over the room, raining down like the first snow fall of the season.

Looking up at the sparkly mess Annabelle spun around, letting her hands fly up above her head. Soaking it all in. All of her favourite sweets hit the ground as Sam dived on the floor, scooping it up in his shirt. Running off like a child.

Picking up a blue boiled lollie off the ground to admire it, she noticed it was in the shape of a large Dimond fixed on a circle band. A candy ring. One of her go to choices when she used to sneak out to the milk bar from her foster home of the week.

Snatching it out of her hand Thor knelt down on one knee, causing an arubtion of laughter and adoring grin across her sweet face.

"Lady Annabelle, would you make me the happiest of gods and be my queen?"

Annabelle held out her hand, cheeks glowing from her blushing. "Why yes my king! It would be my honour" Sliding the ring on her finger Thor spun her around, everyone in a giggling mess.

Natasha connected the music through the stereo system blasting their 'The girls' playlist. A mixture of classic and recent RNB with some 'basic girl' pop songs from the 2000s.

After wasting precious time selecting tunes when they where together the girls created a Spotify playlist, adding songs overtime when it reminded them of each other.

Intoxicated and clumsy everyone started to bid their good nights to Annabelle as she was swept off her feet by Thor, knowing full well she would not make it back to her room in one piece.

"My lady, let's get you to bed" Thor swivelled around on his feet, carrying her bridal style out of the ball room.

Heading through the long hall way their laughs and teasing jokes echoed off the cold walls. Reaching the common room on their way to the bedroom Thor stopped in his tracks. His heart fell into his stomach as he guided Annabelle to her feet.

Still in a booze filled laughing frenzy she didn't see what he saw. "What, now you're going to make your wife walk to her bed. I demand the royal treatment.-"

Finally catching on to his sudden change in posture and expression Annabelle turned around following his stare. Only to be met with a tall handsome figure, standing there with duffle bags at his feet and a neatly wrapped present in his hand.

"Happy Birthday, Doll."

There is so much I want to unpack between these two crazy kids so I've decided to do another book, allowing me to go into more detail and not rush through it.
