My Logic Tells Me Otherwise

Once again I got on Niko's car and we drove on his apartment. It was a sunny day and I was looking again on the view.

None of us spoke till we arrived again. His house actually was near the building where Joel and Joonas live so it took us only 10 minutes.

We both got out and Niko carried my bag.

Once a gentleman always a gentleman.

I was so grateful to have them all in my life. I don't know what or where I would be now. What if I hadn't run into Joel that night when Rafael cheated?
Probably we wouldn't have met and nothing would happen, I wouldn't hurt Joonas and he would be happy without me.

But there is always a reason of what happens in our lives and unfortunately we can't know this reason from the beginning.

Niko unlocked the door and we both walked in.

Rommi immediately came to us

I kneeled down and massaged his head
"Hey little one, I missed you" he purred as a response and then walked to Niko.

I loved how Niko treated Rommi like he is his child, also who wouldn't want a cat like Rommi?

"Cmon buddy let's go" Niko got him in his hands and we walked in the living room

We sat down and Rommi laid his body on my lap.

I smiled on the sight and Niko chuckled

"Something to drink?" He asked before he walked in the kitchen

"Just water thanks" I replied and turned my attention back on massaging Rommi's back. The cat really seemed to enjoy it

Even if i had on my lap one of the cutest pets I still had my mind on Joonas and If Joel would make it.

He could really get stubborn and if he didn't let Joel speak to him the thing would be really difficult.

"Do you think that Joel will make him listen?" I asked Niko when he came back

"Hopefully" he gave me the glass with the water and sat in the couch

That's all we could do know, just hope?
God why it had to be so hard. I understand that I hurted him but he atleast had to listen to my side of the story and not believe only what he saw. I really wonder what he is doing now except of drinking beers.

*Joonas POV

I heard the door bell and got up. I almost fell twice on my way on the door but life was shit now, I needed alcohol more than anything else.

"Let the drinks in and leave" I looked at Joel when I opened the door.

He looked at me like I was a zombie, did I look so bad?

"I think it's better if I stay for a bit" he sat in the couch after placing the beers on the table

She made him to stay right? What couldn't she understand from the word's that we are done. She is so stubborn. Will she ever stop trying?

"Did she left?" I asked him and he nodded

Well atleast she left, I closed the door and let him stay, till he started talking about her in that case I would throw him out of my house.

I sat on the couch and opened another beer and also gave one to Joel.

I took a sip and none of us was speaking.

Seems like they believe her that it's not her fault. What if they are right?

Shut up no, she cheated, she hurted you, this voice in my heart has to shut up I can't think that she is telling the truth just because my heart wants me to.
