Chapter 10

Danessa POV

I get home and fall fast asleep.

Two hours

Two hours later I wake up and see its 8:00 at night on my alarm clock and I can feel emptiness in my stomach so I get up an walk into the kitchen and find something to eat.

As I'm making some pasta and alfredo my phone rings. I go into my room and grab it not recognizing the number I answer it.

"Hey Nessa it's me Hakeem"

"Oh hey Keen what is it"

"Oh nothing I just wanted to see what your were up to?"

"Well I'm cooking right now?"

"You cooking what you cooking?"

"Um some alfredo pasta why?"

"Ooo that's my favorite where you live so I can come by and get some"

"In Chicago"

"Girl I know that don't be playing stupid I mean what's your address so I can come over" he said with a laugh.

"Why you wanna know I hope you don't try and stalk me"

"So you think imma stalk you. Girl I won't I promise"

"Mhmm I'm gonna bring you some tomorrow when I get to work"

"Okay what time you get here"

"6:00"

"That's early but okay I'll be waiting?"

"Bye Hakeem?"

"Bye"

I finish cooking and sit down to eat. After that I do the dishes an get ready for bed.

The Next Day.

I get up to the sound of my alarm clock, I rum my fingers through my messy hair and walk to the bathroom to do my hygiene stuff like brush my teeth,wash my face etc. After that I take a shower put on my deodorant an lotion myself down after that I put on my outfit.

The outfits at the top.

I'm done doing that I cook myself some breakfast an grab my keys and my leftovers an cookies I baked last night.

I get to work less than a hour. When I walk in I see Ms. Lyons.

"Hi Ms.Lyons how are you this morning?"

"Good Ms. Cortez can you pick me up some coffee?"

"Sure thing Ms. Lyons I'll do that and here these are for you?"

I give her the cookies.

"What are these?"

"Cookies I made sometime ago. I want you to have them?"

"Oh thank you so much Danessa your to kind"

Hakeen POV

ooo I'm waiting to see my baby Ms. Danessa Cortez I know she like me she just fronting that's all I think she cute and Damn do I want her I'm through with Tiana.

while I was walking in I spotted Danessa talking to Cookie I see she gave her something better not be my food.

She starts walking my way and I just try an play it coo, we eye each other while She walks by.

"Come here?"

She stops and walks back.

"What, I gotta get going to work boy I can't be playing with you?"

"you got my food I asked for. I know you do an how about I take to the movies."

"um sorry I'm going to the hospital to see my brothers I can't sorry"

"Um how about next week?"

"Okay sure pick me up around 8:00"

"okay I will do that then. wait do you mind if I come a little early?"

"um sure I don't mind" She sang in her her usher voice.

I laugh and we go our separate ways
