Levi woke to the horrible sound of banging pots and pans.

"Wake up, boys!" Maxie shouted. "Time to get your lazy asses out of bed and get ready for breakfast!"

"Maxie, what the hell," Louis groaned as he climbed down the ladder from his bunk. "Put those pots and pans back in the cupboard."

"What are you even doing here at this time?" Ben asked, checking his face in a handheld mirror.

"Dorms open at 5.30!" Maxie shouted, making Levi wince.

"Ok, Maxie! Chill!" Airro shouted over the top of her voice. "Stop yelling so loud!"

Maxie walked over to him and ruffled his black hair. "You're so cute when you're angry," she said.

"I'm not angry," he protested. "This just isn't a very convenient way to be woken up. Look—it's six in the morning!"

"Well, be glad I didn't wake you up as soon as the dorms opened."

Levi slipped out of bed and organised it as neatly as possible, making sure there were no creases anywhere.

"Well, good morning, Mr Clean Freak," Maxie teased.

"Oh, when'd you get back, Levi?" Ben asked as he climbed down the ladder. "You weren't here even after I fell asleep."

"Late," Levi replied.

All events from last night (or quite possibly this morning) were to remain a secret. No one was finding out anything.

"Ookay, not very talkative, are you?" Ben said.

"It's six in the morning. Of course, I'm not talkative."

"Fair enough. Hey Maxie, how'd you even get into our dorm? You need a keycard to..."

Ben's voice trailed off as he followed Maxie's gaze. She was smirking at Airro, and he was looking up at Ben sheepishly.

"You gave her your spare keycard, didn't you?" Louis said.

"Ehehe," Airro laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his head.

"Oh, Airro," Ben sighed. "How many times do we have to tell you—"

Ben's voice was cut off as Levi closed the door to the bathroom and locked it.

Peace and quiet... Levi thought to himself, leaning on the door.

He sighed and put his uniform on the bench and began to undress. He walked into the shower cubicle and turned on the tap, his eyes closing as he felt the warm water run down his body, steam filling the cubicle. It was quiet. Tranquil. Calming. But he couldn't stay there forever.

Levi washed thoroughly and turned the shower off, drying himself as he walked out of the cubicle. He dried his face and looked up at himself in the mirror.

What about him had captivated Hange so much that she almost kissed him? All Levi saw was a small kid with tired eyes—nothing special. Hange refused to let him believe he was anything but beautiful, but he still wasn't sure. After all, surely Hange's parents would've let her stay if he was some handsome, rich boy, right?

Either way, she deserves so much more...

Levi sighed and put his uniform on and put a lanyard around his neck on top of his cravat, his keycard to the dorm inside it. He combed his hair and brushed his teeth, then walked out of the bathroom.

He was welcomed with the loud sound of the others bickering. They all stopped and turned to look at him.

"Levi, you've gotta help us!" Ben shouted, running towards him. "Maxie and Airro are being unreasonable!"
