Hange held onto her wide-brimmed hat as it threatened to fly away in the wind. She cast her gaze upon the large boat that would be docking soon, still a little while away from the docks.

She wished it would hurry up and dock so she could board it. Her backpack was starting to get heavy on her shoulders and she had been grasping the handle of her suitcase for twenty minutes now—simply waiting.

She tilted her head back and groaned. "Ah, I'm so bored!" she complained. "Hey, Levi!"

"No," the raven-haired boy said from beside her, not even sparing her a glance.

"I hadn't even said anything yet."

"I assume you're going to suggest something stupid—like seeing how many steps it takes to get to places so you can do it blindfolded."

How did he know?

"Why would I suggest something stupid like that?" Hange huffed. "I—I was going to ask if you wanted to come and make a schedule with me."

"Likely story. And we already have a schedule."

"I mean for our free time! Sure—we have some things laid out for us a few hours a day but I wanna do things on our own!"

Levi sighed through his nose. "Alright. Just let me unpack my things first."

Hange beamed. "I'll be on the deck. Or I'll just find you first."

"Whatever."

The small cabins were surprisingly accommodating from what Levi imagined they would be. He had never been on a boat—let alone a cruise—but he still never thought it'd be this fancy.

True, it wasn't a first-class suite, but it was certainly a pleasant dwelling. There were four beds, like at the boarding school, so he would be sharing a room. The bathroom was an adequate size, just right for someone who spent only a necessary amount of time in there.

Levi placed his overnight bag next to one of the beds—claiming it—before going on to inspect the rest of the room.

There was a small desk on the right side of the room with a lamp and drawer, and a couple of cabinets, which he assumed were for clothing. There were portholes on the far side—three of them—a window into the magical realm of the ocean. The door to the bathroom was on the left.

Levi heard the rumbling of suitcase wheels on the ground and turned to face the door. Ben, Louis and Airro stumbled inside. Ben's expression lightened up as he saw him. "You're here early!"

Levi nodded. Ben smirked.

"So you didn't get lost this time."

Levi rolled his eyes in response. The four had agreed to share the cabin together—why wouldn't they?

As the others began to choose their beds and settle in, Levi picked up a small booklet that was on each of their beds. He flicked through it—there was a map, a menu, a bunch of phone numbers, a schedule and a few other pages of information.

Doesn't look like our days are going to be very full, Levi thought, looking at the schedule. We only have organised activities for four hours a day, save for breakfast and dinner.

Levi looked out of the small window in the door, which could be closed at night by some curtains. A small family walked past, cheery in their demeanour.

We'll have to navigate the other people on this cruise while we're here. It's an entire week surrounded by the public.

He felt a little queasy at this. He had never been in a proper social situation like this. Even at the zoo, they were isolated from the public.
