"Oh, I'm glad you're finally home, I need you to lay the table" was the greeting Sunghoon received from his mother when he returned from the rooftop. He shook his head slightly as his body adjusted to the warmth of the apartment.

He nodded quietly to himself and begun moving towards the relevant cabinet that contained the Park's crockery.

The apartment presented a typical scene, his mother was finishing the evening's meal in the kitchen whilst his father was slouched in front of the television and while Yeji wasn't present, Sunghoon would have bet everything he had that she was currently lying on her bed, face glued to her laptop.

Sunghoon moved in silent contemplation. His mind was awash with the legion of ramifications after what had occurred moments earlier on the roof. Jake was his boyfriend, that dream and ambition was now a reality. Not only that but Jake had touched him, really touched him. He'd felt him in an intimate way that he had only experienced in his imagination and what's more Jake had wanted to be touched.

A smile crept across Sunghoon's face, he was doing it - he was growing up. His maturation however was cut short in a moment as he reached to pick up a stack of plates.

"Uh, Sunghoon?" The voice of his father called from his left.

"Yeah?" Sunghoon didn't turn but immediately felt himself react as if predicting the incoming scrutiny he was about to try and withstand.

"What are those marks on your neck?"

His father may have being mere metres away but his eyes where hawkish enough to spot the fresh marks left by Jake. "What marks?" Sunghoon asked back, opting not to and make eye contact with his father but to continue his task. Despite trying to staying calm, he promptly found himself trying to suppress an embarrassed smile.

"Don't play dumb with me boy" his father ordered, Sunghoon could hear the smile in his voice.

Collecting the plates, Sunghoon began to distribute them across the table surface. He had only managed to place two of them when he felt a hand grip his shoulder. "OH MY GOD?" The loud voice of his mother, penetrated his attempted veneer of cool.

Sunghoon tried to wriggle free of the touch and continue with his laying of the table but his mother did not let go. Indeed she went so far as to graze his neck with one of her fingers, "Is that... is that a nail mark?" She asked.

The only answer Sunghoon could muster was an exasperated gasp of air. He was cringing, convulsing even.

"They're quite deep" His mother added, calling to her husband across the room.

"YEJI!?" His father now called loudly.

"WHAT?!?" Her voice called back, irritated at being interrupted.

"DO YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND YET?" Their father called again.

"NO! WHY?"

"BECAUSE I WANT TO HAVE GRANDCHILDREN AND I THINK.....  YOU MIGHT BE MY ONLY BET"

"You let him bite you?" Jungkook asked several metres away. He was also inspecting the newly returned teenager in his apartment.

"It was...." Jake brushed his hand through his hair, "a moment, of passion"

"Passion? Is that what we're calling it?" Jungkook brought his eyes to within an inch of Jake's neck. "They're really deep - Are we sure Hoonie isn't a vampire?"

"I'm sure he's not, he was just excited"

"I'd say" Jungkook added before continuing his inspection. Jake had tried to return home in an unassuming fashion. However, whilst trying to sneak to his room Jungkook had called him over and had immediately seen the red marks on his neck.
