Jake found himself spending the first few lessons staring out of the window. Once the morning's social activity had subsided he was left to his own thoughts, his mind turning quickly to his absent boyfriend. The day begun with an awkward feeling, like being unbalanced or faint.
Yun had noticed he was off. When he had come to school he had expected her to admonish him and to pick him apart for the marks on his neck but after questioning for the location of Sunghoon she'd let him be.
Truth be told, Jake was surprised with himself at how Sunghoon's situation was already growing to effect him as the day progressed. He was beginning to realise just how attached he was towards his new boyfriend.
There had been a point a few months ago when he intended to push him away, for both of their sakes. He'd never wanted to be attracted to a guy and yet he now found one occupying every thought in his head as his mind raced of ways to cheers him up. That was scary in a way. He'd completely failed to judge himself but he couldn't think about himself now - he had to keep his mind straight on Sunghoon.
He knew Sunghoon, and knew to raise his morale he'd have to be gentle - perhaps company would suffice. Anything romantic or sexual in nature might seem too advantageous and weird given the circumstances. It would be wrong to use this predicament to take things to the next level.
Checking his phone, Jake went to see if his message had been replied to or even read - it hadn't.
Slumping in his chair, Jake sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "I hope you're okay Hoon" he whispered to himself and continued to stare out of the window.

Jungwon knew that Minki was charismatic, Jake had told him that in advance of their meeting but he had still being surprised by how quickly he had taken to him. Unlike the other older boys he knew, Minki was confident and not over burdened by secrecy or self-doubt.
Sure, Jungwon liked the likes of Jake and Sunghoon. They were funny and courteous to him even though he was young they let him in on their jokes when he went round to Jungkook's but they always felt up tight, like they were hiding something.
Perhaps the reason Jungwon found them odd was because he was one of the few people who knew what they were hiding - it wasn't like 'coming out' that they were gay and dating would be exactly be easy so Jungwon knew he should find that particularly odd.
Then there was Jay - who just didn't feel at ease with himself at all. It was somewhat sad that Jungwon knew he was most comfortable being himself when he was with him. That was nice, sweet even but Jay didn't present the same utility that someone like Minki could provide. Donghyun and Insu would think twice about crossing one of the school's star midfielders.
Since his debut for the first team last term, Minki had risen through the school's awkward social hierarchy. He had become desirable to the girls and now sat with the cool kids at lunch. What surprised Jungwon was that, in spite of his esteemed reputation, he had seemed all-too-keen to take him under his wing. Was Minki just that kind or was he just doing Jake a favour?
Regardless, Jungwon smiled as he sat in history whilst texting one of the coolest kids on campus. He was fairly certain he was annoying Choi whenever he leant to his friend to show him a meme that Minki had sent. Initially Choi had being keen to look at his phone but had quickly grown disinterested at the correspondence. Jungwon wasn't sure why but he paid it no thought as his phone buzzed once more:
MK: So you're coming tomorrow morning?
JW: I can't - I've got gym class later that day
