In the kingdom of North, where the Mins ruled over generation to generation. There has a rule that is applicable to the person who will inherit the throne.

A King or Queen should dedicate his or her self to the kingdom and its people only. Meaning a King or Queen will not be having a husband or wife, their heart must be only for the kingdom and its people.

Only royals to royals can have a child. The only relation they have is gonna be a mother and father but not husband and wife.

This rule has been passed generations by generations and to this present time, The Queen Min Yoonji, the current leader of their kingdom along with her little brother, Prince Min Yoongi.

Prince Min Yoongi is a curious and smart person. He likes to read, to write poems, and to play instruments with his sister. But now that his sister has been crown the queen, she gotten busy leaving her brother lonely in this castle. He had no other person to share his talent on playing the instrument he loves.

One day, as he was walking on the royal garden. He saw a boy who looks like a commoner, poor person. Smelling the beautiful flowers and almost picking one but he got interrupted by the prince.

"What are you doing? You do know that it is forbidden to pick any of these flowers?" The prince said.

The boy was shock and he immediately stands up to the prince and bowed, showing respect to the him.

"I am really sorry my prince, its my first time seeing a beautiful flower since the place i lived in doesn't any have one and only the rich can afford them. I am really sorry my prince, please don't punish me" the boy begged for his life, afraid that he will be punished for just adoring a flower.

The prince felt bad about the fact that he wanted to see a flower and what he said is true, only a rich person can afford to buy one and he lived in the urban areas, flowers aren't really present there.

He didn't know why he has the urge to do this. He plucked a flower and put on his ear, tucked with his hair.

"You're right, flowers are beautiful especially on you" He didn't know what he was thinking but he just feel the urge to praise the little one.

"Th-thank you my prince". the boy can't helped but to blush as it was his first time to praise him like that. This sight was unforgettable for the prince.

His heart smile, rosy cheeks, eyes that hold many joy inside them.

He couldn't look away.

"What's your name?"

"My name is Jung Hoseok my prince"

In that moment, the two became inseperable. A prince and an ordinary boy, nobody would believe it actually. As time goes by, they fell in love and it was the best moment they wouldn't ever forget.

After 10 years

"I promise, after the war I will marry you" Prince said.

"Are you really sure about that? I mean I do love you but I am just a commoner, a poor person to be exact and you're a royal. I don't want to risk the people hating on you, they adore very much. We don't fit in our society"
Hoseok worriedly said. He wanted to marry him but he is worried about him too. He can't stop overthinking that his prince might get hurt for his rebellion about marrying a commoner. He doesn't want to risk it as he cares for him and love him.

"You aren't just a commoner, you are everything but a commoner. Always remember this my love, whatever you are I will always love you and even if everybody is against us, I am willing to run away with you and live a normal life as long as you are with me and i am with you."

Their lips touched and their anxious and nervousness immediately go away and it can count as a farewell to as the prince will now go.

"Promise me you will come back with no bruises, sound and safe?" Hoseok questioned.

"I promise my love, take care of yourself also and wear this ring. After the war, I will go straightly to the royal garden and say I do, I do gonna marry you." Prince responded. Hoseok can't help but to blush and cry as he was gonna leave and fight alongside with his sister. The enemy's kingdom declared a war to them as a misunderstanding that they already fixed with a talk but one betrayed and it caused this war.

During the war

Swords were clashing, smoke were covering up the blue sky, everything was in chaos. The Mins were winning as they kept fighting in order to have the victory they wanted and to all their efforts, they won.

As they were leaving, it happens so fast that they couldn't keep up.

The Queen,

was shot.

Yoongi went rageful, his dear sister was shot so unexpectedly, no one saw that coming. All he could just think is kill. Kill the one who killed his sister. 'kill. kill. KILL.'
his mind chanted but to no avail, no one knows who shot the queen because there is really no one around and the suspect ran after they shot the queen, so how could he avenge his sister if he didn't even knew who did it?

"Please, noona wake up please! please, w-we need to d-do some siblings stuff right? r-right? so please wake up. WAKE UP"

said the man, but no response, indicates that she is dead.

When the news came out after coming back to the kingdom, some people felt joy as they won the battle but the atmosphere still being dominated by the sorrowful emotion since Min Yoonji was a great Queen, many people really admired her for being a good and kind queen she was so many people really got dreadful about the queen's death.

Many few days back, after the funeral, mostly half the kingdom went to het funeral along with his brother and his lover. Hoseok immediately went to comfort him in their secret meet up. He really calmed down yoongi as he was his soft spot. Hoseok did nothing do but to listen and be there for yoongi, that's what he needs right now. But that didn't stop there.

Min Yoongi doesn't have a child to be the heir to the throne, so her sibling will be the next ruler of the kingdom which is Yoongi.

His biggest nightmare.

(this has been sitting in my drafts for a long time ㅜㅡㅜ, but dw i already planned on how the story's gonna go in my head so i hope i won't mess that up and i am gonna be remind you that its gonna be full angst. Soo I hope you like this and please I am so sorry for the wait hope yall forgive me ㅜㅡㅜ been busy with online classes.
