2 DAYS LATER, MUMBAI, GOENKA HOUSE, AFTERNOON
Sid was sitting in the living room looking at his parents, brother and a 3 month pregnant sister in law, they were all looking sad and why not, it's been only 15 days since he's back from a 2 month mission and now he's going back again, the family had lunch together and were now in the living room waiting for Sid's cab to arrive.

The cab arrived after sometime, he met all his family members, asked them to not worry about him and take care, they said the same thing and bid eo bye. He sat in the cab and left for the airport, after sitting in the cab, he received a call and smiles seeing the callers name, Shehnaaz. He picked the call and said
Sid:helllloooo
Sana:heyy, nikal gaye??
Sid:hmm, tum kya kar rhi ho
Sana:kuch nhi, aaj friends se milne ka plan hai, finally sab free hai aaj......
Sid:acha, enjoy, enjoy....
Then they kept talking until Sid reached the airport, then bid bye to eo with a heavy heart.Sid boarded his flight to Chandigarh after some time.

On the other side, Shehnaaz got ready to meet her childhood friends Shreya,Mehwish,Ranveer and Abhishek(Abhi). They went to the same school and became great friends over time.

Shehnaaz reached Cafe Della and saw Mehwish there already, the girls squealed seeing eo and hugged, they were later joined by the other three. The friends were enjoying eos company, discussing their lives and remembering old times, when Shehnaaz got a call from Sidharth. And as the expected behavior of best friends, all of them peeped in her phone and saw the caller id and raised their eyebrows asking who's this. She rolled her eyes at them and picked his call with a smile
Sana:hello, pahunch gaye??
Sid:hello, finally reached Chandigarh..... Yaar this city is so beautiful....
Sana:Kal se kaam start hoga na??
Sid:tonight is the meeting for decision making,the grind starts again
He said enthusiastically
Sid heard voices behind her and frowned
Sid:tum bahar ho kya... Busy ho toh baad mein call karun?? Wo aaj raat ko shayad baat na ho, meeting hogi na isliye abhi call kar liya....
Sana:ha wo meine bataya tha na friends ke.....
Sid:ohhhh yesss........ Sh*t I'm so sorry, totally forgot it .....
Sana:Arre koi na, chill
Sid:acha will talk later, u enjoy, byeeeee
Sana:byee
She chuckled and cut the call.
After keeping her phone aside, she was met with 4 pairs of curious eyes with teasing smiles.She frowned and asked
Shehnaaz:what??
Ranveer:kaun tha
Mehwish:tune batayi bhi nhi
Shreya:oye hoye humari Sanu toh chupi rustom nikli
Abhi:waah bhai, hume bataya bhi nhi aur humare liye jiju dhund liya....
All of them pounced on her while she looked at them as if they've grown horns on their heads.
Shehnaaz:tumlog pagal hogaye ho!!! It was Sidharth, mera friend hai, kaam pe mile the hum
Ranveer:acha toh tu apne friend ke phone aane pe itna muskura rhi thi
Shreya:aur friend ke reached or not reached ki itni chinta....
Abhi:aur itna laal tamatar sa chehra hi rakha hai...
Mehwish:aur......
Shehnaaz:bas.... Bas, tumlog na kuch bhi, kahi bhi chalu hojate ho, aisa kuch nhi hai...ok.....
She was biting back a smile that was threatening to come in her face and made a poker face and said
Shehnaaz:ab kuch aur baat karle?? Ranveer, how is Anshika and baby(his wife who is pregnant)
Ranveer:boh are doing well....
And then again they fell into random conversations, it was around 8 pm in the evening when the friends finally bid bye to eo after roaming on the Mumbai beaches and laughing and talking to their hearts content.

NSA QUARTER, CHANDIGARH
Sid had reached Chandigarh around evening and had called his family and informed them about it, after which he called Shehnaaz to inform her as she had  asked him to and also bcuz he wanted to, as well. After the call with her (as mentioned above), he freshened up and took a nap, after waking up he started preparing for tonights meeting, this was regarding a huge scale dr*gs production and sales case, they had to catch the culprits by hook or crook, if their information is correct, it will cause a great destruction to the public, they had to nab these heinous crime committing people. After giving final touches to his presentation, Sid looked at the time, it was 9:30 pm, he sighed and ordered dinner from the quarters mess. At sharp 9:55 he came out of his room to go to the conference hall for the meeting which was held at 10 pm.
After reaching there he met a few known faces from his previous missions and interacted with them. The meeting was started in the presence of the head of NSA, Chandigarh and few other seniors, Sid was incharge of this mission and very dedicatedly he explained all the details, repercussions, plans of this mission.At around 2:15 am in the midnight, the meeting was finally completed after rounds of discussions and suggestions from everyone. All the members left to their rooms, they were to start the mission from tomorrow 7 am in the morning. Sid was exhausted, all the travelling, previous injuries, it's medicines, hours of prep and then the never ending meeting, took a toll on him, he fell asleep immediately after coming to his room, he didn't even check his phone in his tiredness.

SEHGAL HOUSE, MUMBAI
Shehnaaz after her outing with friends, had dinner with her family spent time with them, watched a movie with Nidhi(her sister) and went to her room to sleep, she knew she won't be able to talk to Sid today, he had a late night meeting and she was well aware that these meetings could last for hours, she was upset though, it was their daily routine to talk before sleeping, but she knew and understood that work is work after all. She tried cheering herself up by scrolling through social media, after sometime, she was going through her pics from today's outing and remembered her friends teasing her with Sid's name, she smiled unknowingly and shook her head. After sometime, she thought of something and immediately messaged Sid something and went off to sleep with a smiling face.
