AFTER 4 DAYS
NSA, LADAKH, NIGHT

It was 4 days since Shehnaaz reached Ladakh and the mission started, 4 days and absolutely no contact with anyone from her family, the mission was going perfectly at pace, the planning and execution was going in thr right direction. Shehnaaz was leading this mission and was handling everything with ease.

Right now she was sitting in her room scrolling through her no network phone after a hectic and tiring day, she so wanted to talk to her family and Sidharth.... It was the longest they had gone without talking to work. While scrolling her phone suddenly beeped indicating a message, she jumped on her place, this meant the network was back, she immediately called her mother to talk with her family, her mother picked up the phone and she was greeted with her emotional voice, Shehnaaz felt herself tear up a bit listening her moms voice, she then consoled her mother and then talked for a long time with her parents and sister, she also added her brother and sister in law on conference call, the Sehgals then advised her to take care and bid bye. She felt happy talking to her family after long, then she immediately dialled Sid's number fearing that the network would not last long.

NSA, CHANDIGARH, NIGHT
These past 4 days had been crazy for Sid, he being the lead in the mission was going through extra pressure from the authorities above. The mission was almost on the verge of completion, a successful completion, and that thought made him feel content. They had worked hard for this mission like all other missions. Just 2 more days, a last part and the mission will be completed, after a tiring and stressful 2 months.

Sid was coming back from the campus of NSA , he went for a walk every night after dinner and talked to his family while walking.He was coming back when a colleague was rushing from the opposite side and accidentally pushed him, Sidharth hissed at the contact, his left arm was wounded by a dagger while a fight broke during one of the raids in the mission. The colleague apologized profusely and Sid excused him kindly.

He went to his room and sat on his bed, still in pain and hissing. He took a painkiller and was about to sleep when his phone rang, the callername instantly brightened his mood, Shehnaaz Sehgal. He picked up the call and said
Sid:hellooo, finally there's network
Shehnaaz (giggle) :hey.... Yeah...
Sid:kaisi hai??
Sana:theek hun..... Tu??
Sid:mein bhi
Sana:teri awaaz se toh nhi lag rha..... Tujhe kahi chot lagi hai na
Sid(surprised):Tu antaryami hai??
Sana:Sidhaaaaarth..... Drame mat kar.... Tu theek nhi hai??
Sid:ha wo parso ek fight ke dauran kisi ne dagger maar diya left arm pe
She gasped at it, she knew how painful it could be, her eyes we're unknowingly teary.
Sana:tu.... Tu theek hai bol rha hai aur..... Aise koi karta hai.... Teko abhi....
Sid:shhhh breath sweetheart.... Kuch nhi hua hai.... Abhi ekdum theek hun...
Sana:jhoota
She twitched her face and Sid sighed, she knew him too well.
Sid:ho jaunga theek na... Acha ab yeh rona dhona chod... Achi baatein karte hai... Network ka kya bharosa.....
Sana:oh haaa
And they began talking on random topics, discussed what happened inter the days they couldn't talk, laughed on silly things. Then in between the conversation, shehnaaz said
Shehnaaz:Arre tujhe ek baat bolna hi bhul gayi..... Guess kar mein yahi kisse mili.... Wo yaha mere saath hai mission mein
Sid:guess kaise karu pagal... Tu hi bata
Shehnaaz:offo chod..... Arnavvvvvv..... He is here on this mission with me...
Sid felt something churn in his stomach and he didn't know why.
Sid:uhh.... Wow.. That's nice
Sana:haina... It's good to have a known face around...
Sid tried to sound enthusiastic but failed
Sid:yeah yeah... Hmm
Sana:kya hua Sid, tu achanak low sound kar rha hai.... Dukh rha hai kya wound pe
She was worried.
Sid:nhi bas.... Chod na aur.....
He changed the topic and they again started talking, the phone got cut after sometime, Shehnaaz checked and saw the network was gone, she cursed the network. Sid understood that the network issue was back.

Sid was feeling upset and he didn't know why, or probably his heart knew but stupid mind always trying to be rational. He slept off thinking about the same.

Shehnaaz after the call declined, was happy after talking to Sid but was sad as well because he was wounded by a dagger it must be paining, she thought upset,she prayed for him and went off to sleep, a peaceful sleep after days because of a conversation with her family and Sidharth.

3 DAYS LATER
GOENKA HOUSE, MUMBAI
Sidharth was back to his family, he landed in Mumbai earlier this morning, the mission was a huge success and he super happy due to it and also because he could make it on time for his sister in laws baby shower, she was 7 months pregnant now. He didn't want to miss these family moments.

His family was overjoyed like always whenever he came back from a mission. They spent quality time with eo at the breakfast after which he was now alone in his house as all others left for theirs jobs. He slept till late afternoon because of lack of sleep the previous night due to travelling, he caught up with friends in he evening and sat down with his family after dinner,planning for the baby shower.
After that he went to his room and layed on his bed trying to sleep, while sleeping his mind was filled with thoughts. It had been 3 days since he last talked with Shehnaaz, there was no network to reach her or tell about his safety and successful completion of the mission. His thoughts also wandered to Arnav being present there, he had no grudges against Arnav, he was a nice guy, but he didn't know why he thought that Arnav liked Shehnaaz and not in a friendly way and that thought didn't settle well with him, he had heard Arnav talk to Joy in their previous mission about his liking for someone, he couldn't hear it properly but there was a mention of Shehnaaz in their talks which made him think that it's Shehnaaz they're talking about.A thought crosses his mind , did Shehnaaz like Arnav as well?? And that made him more upset,he closed his eyes and shook off all the thoughts trying to sleep. Finally after sometime, sleep consumed him.

Shehnaaz(giggle) :isn't it amazing Sidharth, the engagement is at Jodhpur, his native, we'll meet there and...... Hello Sidharth... Hello... Da*n the network yaar.
