Let's begin

NEXT MORNING, GOENKA HOUSE
Sidharth woke up with a bright mood and freshened up for the day, he went out to the dining area and saw his parents, brother Shaurya and 8 months pregnant sister in law Sargun sitting at the breakfast table waiting for him with teasing smiles. He knew his mother being the over excited one had already divulged his proposal to Shehnaaz to everyone here and now he was going to be a piece of their entertainment. He gulped thinking all this.

Arvind (Father) :arre Dekho toh Kon aye hai.... Humare chips rustam land sahab(sarcasm)
Sid rubbed his neck to avoid the awkwardness and sat on his place for breakfast.
He filled his plate with breakfast and was about to take a bite when Sargun snatched his plate and kept it in front of her. He looked at her confused
Sargun:Sidharth mein bohot Nawaz Hun, tum ne mujhe bhi nahi bataya meri devrani ke baare mein, humari toh deal hui thi na
Sidharth:Sargun wo mein batane wala tha
Shaurya:kab shaadi ke baad
Sid glared at his brother, here he was trying to calm Sargun down and he was pouring ghee in the fire.
He looked at his mother for help, Sakshi gave him a smile teasing him but took his side nevertheless
Sakshi:Sargun bacche, wo tum he batane hi wala tha, tum toh janti ho na ke wo tumse kitna pyaar karta hai, aree Shaurya se zyada tum he maanta hai wo
Shaurya gave an offended look but was pleased on the inside.
Sidharth looked at Sargun with a pleading smile to which she melted
Sargun:theek hai par meri ek shart hai....... I want to meet her
Before Sidharth could react
Arvind, Sakshi, Shaurya:us tooooooo
Sidharth:whattt
Arvind:what , whatt..... You've proposed , she said yes, we deserve to meet out daughter in law
Sidharth blushed at the mention of daughter in law
Shaurya:oye hoye, oye hoyeeeeee...... Mera bhai Sharma rha hai, bhaisaab yeh toh chamatkaar hai.... Ab toh milna banta hai bhabhiji se
Sidharth:abey chup(blush)

Sidharth:theek hai dekhte hai, waist bhi us ke papa bhi Milne ke liye bol rhe the
Arvind:Haye rabba us ke papa ko bataya Hua hai bacchi ne aur tu khotteya Hume propose karke bata rha hai....
Sidharth:dadddd, usne nhi bataya, eo toh.....
(And he narrated the telephonic conversation he had with her dad yesterday morning and everyone in the house was listening to him as if it was a movie)
Shaurya:woahhhh, teri toh ekdum fatt gays hogi na
He said laughing
Sidhart:puch mat bhai
Arvind:hmm he seems to be a protective father, nice
Sidharth:nice??meein itna tension mein agaya tha
Arvind:aur nhi toh kya hai,every father worries for his children
They agreed
Sakshi:toh batao kab milna hai
Sidharth:mein Shehnaaz se baat karta hun, fir dekhte hai sab jaise free ho
Sargun:offo an bahane dhunde ja rhe hai Shehnaaaaz se baat karne ke liye, kya Sidharth ab toh Teri girlfriend hai, bina wajah bhi call karega toh bhi I love you bolegi wo tum he
She winked and everyone laughed while Sidharth coughed to hide his blush and walked to his room.

SEHGAL HOUSE, MORNING
Shehnaaz woke up and was greeted with an empty house and a message saying that everyone is in their work place, will meet in evening, take care and have food. She smiled and had  her breakfast while watching TV and then headed to her room. She was scrolling through her phone and was thinking about yesterday with a smile, she loved him, he loved her, these thoughts made her feel so ecstatic. She was thinking to call him because of course she wanted to talk to him and also because she wanted to talk about his cute conversation with her father (it was cute according to her lekin humare Sidharth ki band baji padi thi) she was about to dial his number when she received his call, smiling she picked the call
Shehnaaz:Sidhaaarth, mein tum he hi call karne wali thi
Sidharth:hello to u too
He said sarcastically
Shehnaaz:hello
Sidharth:so batayie humari yaad as rhi thi apko??
Shehnaaz:acha....nhi toh, bas aise hi
They were in teasing mode.
Sidharth:theek hai fir I'm hanging up
Shehnaaz:ok bye
She said smiling and biting her lips
Sidharth:I'm really hanging up Haan
Shehnaaz:Haan sidharth byeeee
Sidharth (pout) :shehnaaz yaaaaaar
He whined and shehnaaz laughed out loud
Shehnaaz:oh my god, you're a baby
Sidharth:your baby
She could totally imagine him smirking and blushed
Shehnaaz:Sidhaaarth
Sidharth:kya Hua babyyyyy
Shehnaaz:ok ab wo chodo tum yeh batao, tumne mujhe bola kyu nhi ke tumne Kal papa se baat ki??
Sidharth:don't even ask, I was so petrified jab unhone phone pick kiya, fir tumne prank kar diya, fir jab finally humne ache se confess kiya tab mera dhyaan hi nhi gaya, aur waise bhi yeh thoda serious topic tha aur Kal ka itna lovey dovey environment mein tense nhi Karna chahta tha
Shehnaaz:oye hoye, lekin kaafi smoothly manaya ha papa ko
Sidharth:I'm a born charmer
He smirked
Shehnaaz:jao jao, abhi BOL rhe the ke fatt rhi thi
And she laughed while he made faces.

Sidharth:whatever
Shehnaaz:acha  Sidhaaarth......
He knew that tone, it meant he would freak out hearing what she's gonna tell
Sidharth:bolo??
Shehnaaz:my family wants to meet u
Shehnaaz was prepared to hear him freaking out but very surprisingly he said
Sidharth (took a breath of relief):acha, that's good , we can meet
Shehnaaz (confuse):that's good?? I mean you're fine with it na, like you're not freaking out, you were so tensed in the call itself with papa alone.
Sidharth:no it's fine, we have to meet someday and I'd love to do it soon now, also...... My family wants to meet you too
Shehnaaz:whatttttt, howwww, I mean oh my god....... Sidharth, they know about me, u told them?? Do they like me, do they approve your relationship, will they like me, what if they don't like me, what if they find me unsuitable, what if.....??
Sidharth:shhhhhh shaant Shehnaaaz, breathe baby breathe
Shehnaaz stopped and took a deep breath
Sidharth:you're acting like me(chuckled) don't worry, my mom figured out and I told her everything yesterday then my whole family got to know and they already like you and I'm sure after meeting u they'll love u as well and yes they are very eager to meet u .
Shehnaaz:pakka na??
Sidharth:pakka
There was silence for few moments, they were smiling,thoughts of meeting eo and their family, dreaming of the future made them zone out blissfully.
Shehnaaz:toh??
Sidharth:toh??
Shehnaaz:kab milna hai?
Sidharth:dono saath mein mile??
Shehnaaz:perfect, aise thoda awkward bhi nhi lagega and both families could interact as well
Sidharth:haina....lets keep the plan for this Sunday, lunch??
Shehnaaz:fine by me, I'll confirm by tonight, I've to ask everyone if they have some  prior commitments
Sidharth:mein bhi puchta hun then we'll decide further place and all??
Shehnaaz:haa
Then they talked for some more time and hung up after wishing eo a good bye.

I had asked if I shd continue this book with the story line I have in mind or wrap it up with a happy ending , since people aren't very vocal about if they r liking the story or not, in the last chapter I asked for an answer to the question of continuation or not and got only one reply, plz do vote and comment, they motivate me to write better , and to everyone who has been there for me and my stories, thank you so much❤Sorry for my rant y'all😩
