Today is the proposal update, wohoooo!!! And also we've reached to 20 chapters😍today I really want you guys to comment a few lines on how the book has been or how you've liked or not liked the proposal, isliye I've kept a comment target, which is something ive never done before. So, if this chapter gets 15 or more comments , only then I'll upload the next part which is of course gonna be more interesting, plz comment kar dena, izzat ka sawal hai mere🙈😉

Let's begin

Sid:shehnaaz I'm sorry sweetheart, I was joking I swear and I really didn't know she was flirting, plzzzzzz
Sana:driver plz start the car
Sid sighed in relief but saw her still a bit miffed
Sid:sana look at me...... Plzzzz
She did and he said
Sid:baby plz, I'm sorry na jaan(tum logo ko kya laga, cab mein hi proposal hojayega, haye itni bhi pagal nhi hun mein, aise thodi cab driver ke saamne confession hoga, privacy naame ki bhi koi cheez hoti hai bhai)
He told her so sincerely and cutely, she couldn't help but smile, and seeing her smile, he smiled too.
Sidharth:maan gayi??
Shehnaaz:ha, ab Tu aise shakle banana band kar, bandar lag rha hai
And she laughed on him while he gave her an offended look, they talked for some more time and her home cane, she stepped outside the can after bidding him bye and giving her share of fare which he tried denying but of course no one wins against the sherawali mata. After sometime, Sidharth reached his house. Both of them took a nap in their respective homes,being tired.

NIGHT, MUMBAI, SEHGAL HOUSE
Shehnaaz was sitting in her room after dinner with a pen and paper, she was scribbling stuff of the pages and huffed irritated
Shehnaaz:uff yaar, yeh proposal plan karna itna mushkil kyu hai.....
Yes she was planning to propose Sidharth on the coming saturday which is day after tomorrow but was currently so frustrated and why not, she just couldn't decide how to plan something super special, she wanted to keep it minimal juts like he liked but was out of ideas to do the minimal as well.

On the other hand, in Goenka House, Sidharth was sitting in his room after dinner and was scrolling through his phone planning or trying to plan might I add a perfect dreamy proposal for Shehnaaz. He knew, she loved sweet gestures over expensive gifts any day, he wanted to do something which makes her heart smile and become one of her best memories but what, is still the question.

SKIP TO SATURDAY
Sidnaaz had talked on call yesterday ams Sidharth had asked Shehnaaz to meet him tomorrow which is today early morning at 7 and said he'll pick her up, Shehnaaz was kinda skeptical to meet bcuz she had something planned for the evening and didn't know if they'll be able to make it before that, but he was very eager to take her out somewhere,the place which he was very adamant on not disclosing, so she decided to give a nod, anyways she had already done with all the preparations for the eve, just some last minute things.

At sharp 7 am, Sidharth came to pick Shehnaaz in his car and both greeted each other with a smile, actually a huge grin, they both were too happy today, it was a special day for them.
Shehnaaz:Sidharth ab toh bata de hum kaha ja rhe hai??
She asked after sitting in the car for 15 mind
Sidharth:patience darling
He winked and she glared at him even though she was blushing slightly
Shehnaaz (murmer):what is with these sweet names
Sid smiled and continued driving, after a few minutes he stopped the car, Shehnaaz looked around and saw a board on the right side which read Sunshine Orphanage, she looked at Sidharth
Sidharth:let's go??
Shehnaaz nodded and both of them got down the car, sidharth held her hand and lead her inside. After talking with the head for sometime,they walked to the back yard where many children were playing and laughter was filled all around.
Sidharth looked at Shehnaaz and frowned on seeing her teary eyed
Sidharth:Sana, kya hua tu....
Sana:dekh na Sidharth yeh bacche kitne khush lag rhe hai, khel rhe hai par jab akele hote honge ya ab bhi khelte khelte unhe apne parents, apni family kisi yaad aati hogi na
Sidharth sighed, it was true, they did miss their families of course.
Sidharth:ha yaad toh ayegi hi, par hum puri koshish karenge ke inn baccho ki zindagiyo ko khushiyon se bharde
She flashed a beautiful smile at him which made his lips curl up as well.
As soon as the children saw Sidharth and Shehnaaz they gathered around them and started talking to Sidharth, Shehnaaz looked at him in surprise
Sana:tum yaha aate rehte ho??
Sid:ha 6 mahine mein ek baar..... Acha baccho inse milo yeh hai Shehnaaz
Kids:hello Shehnaaz didi
They greeted eo and Sidnaaz started talking and playing with the kids, it was a beautiful scenario. Shehnaaz looked at Sidharth and saw how lovingly he was handling the kids, she knew she fell for the right man. After having breakfast with the kids and spending some more time, sidnaaz were bidding bye to the kids when a little girl said
Girl:bye Shehnaaz bhabhi
Sana:bhabhi??
Girl:ha aap Sidharth bhaiya ki khaas dost ho na
Listening the girls words, sidnaaz blushed and were also shocked at how the little knew all these things
Sidharth choked and said
Sidharth:chalo chalo Shehnaaz late ho rha hai, bye baccho
And he held her hand and took her near the car ignoring the lovely teasing by the kids behind. They sat in the car and sidharth again started driving
Sana:ab kaha ja rhe hai hum??
Sid:surprise again
And he winked at her
They were silent for some time, rewinding the peaceful morning they had at the orphanage when shehnaaz said
Sana:thank you Sidharth
He looked at her confused
Shehnaaz:for taking me to sunshine orphanage, I loved spending time there with you and the kids.
Sidharth:well your welcome sweetheart
They were talking on their way to where ever Sidharth was taking them. After half an hour, sidharth stopped the car in front of an amusement park. Shehnaaz looked at the entrance of the park in awe and then turned to Sidharth giving him a bright smile
Shehnaaz:yeh.... Wow... Sidhaaarth
Sidharth:surprise surprise
Shehnaaz:why all this,I mean is there something special......
Sidharth:well you and me are together, thats special in itself.
His words warmed her heart.
Shehnaaz was lowkey nervous, she was going to propose him today evening and she prayed for everything to go well, she didn't want all the happiness and fun they have today to be ruined in the evening if things don't go on track. There was one more worry in Shehnaaz's mind, she was thinking what if Sidharth is planning to propose her, like he's been doing all these sweet stuff so.......

Sidharth:kaha kho gayi madam??
Shehnaaz smiled at him and nodded in a no
They entered the amusement park, it was the biggest one in Mumbai and had a giant wheel as an attraction which showed a beautiful scene of almost the whole of Mumbai (yeh sab kalpanic yani ki imaginary hai, kripya satya na samjhe, hehe)
They enjoyed lots of rides and had lunch in between as well, now they were walking when shehnaaz said
Shehnaaz:sidharth chal na ghar chalte hai, bohot thak gayi hun mein(she actually wanted them to reach a certain place at around 8 in the evening with Sidharth)
Sidharth:ha bas ek aur ride
Shehnaaz:sidhaaarth (she whined)
Sidharth:pleaseeeeeeee
Shehnaaz:chal jaldi
And they sat on the giant wheel which btw was empty, only Sidnaaz were sitting in it and shehnaaz seemed to have noticed after 2/3 rounds, so she asked
Sana:Sidharth sirf hum dono hi kyu baithe hai isme, haye rabba kahi yeh kharab toh nhi, kahi yeh tut toh nhi jayega, hayee.........
And she was going on blabbering when the gaint wheel suddenly stopped and shehnaaz closed her eyes and held Sidharth's hands tightly
Shehnaaz:sidhaaarth, dekh na yeh.....
Sidharth:shhhh...... Open your eyes baby
He said calmly rubbing her back, hse slowly opened her eyes and saw the beauty of Mumbai from the top of the giant wheel, it had stopped right at the middle on the upper side.
Shehnaaz:wowwww
She was mesmerized, she turned to Sidharth who was already smiling at her but there was something different, he was smiling nervously
Sidharth held her hand in his and made her sit opposite to him, taking a deep breath he started
Sidharth:Shehnaaz, the day I met you at the NSA quarters for the first time, I felt really happy from within, I didn't know the reason back then but now I do(shehnaaz's breath hitched at his words) it was you, you make me happy Shehnaaz. We didn't hit off instantly, we were awkward around each other in the beginning but when we started talking, I knew I never wanted to stop talking with you all my life. (Shehnaaz knew where all this was going, her heartbeats were so fast and loud, she felt sidharth could hear it as well, both were looking into eo's eyes)Those late night phone conversations, those random midday chats,everything became so special.The time when we couldn't talk while you were in Ladakh, it was miserable,I was just counting days when you'll be back all fit and fine. Shehnaaz you're one of the most humble and kind people I've ever met, the way you love your family, they way you're so dedicated to your profession, the way you're so amazing without even trying,the way you are all about love and happiness,it makes me feel so glad to have met you.Remember, you asked me at Arnav's engagement that why was I so frustrated bcuz I thought it's your engagement with him?? (Shehnaaz nodded, teary eyed) it's bcuz...... (Deep breath) it's bcuz I lOVE YOU SHENAAZ(shehnaaz couldn't control anymore, she felt tears flowing through her eyes) I love you so so much, I don't know how when why, all I know is that I've fallen for you and it's the most surreal feeling I've ever felt, Shehnaaz Sehgal will you be soulmate, will you give me the pleasure of walking in love??

Shehnaaz was crying, not speaking a word, Sidharth suddenly felt jittery, he started feeling nervous, he thought what if she didn't like it, what if she doesn't feel the same and so he said
Sidharth:Shehnaaz, why r u crying? It's ok if you don't feel the same baby, stop crying, I'm sorry it's all my fault I shouldn't have confessed, I shouldn't have......
His words were cut by shehnaaz who said
Shehnaaz:I want to go home
Sidharth sat there rooted for sometime before give a signal for the ride to start moving, they came down and got off the ride. Shehnaaz started walking and Sidharth followed dejected, he fu*ked up, he shouldnt  have, he thought. Shehnaaz went and stood by his car and said
Shehnaaz:give me the keys
Sidharth looked at her confused, was she abandoning him on a highway and going home alone, he smacked himself and gave her the keys
Shehnaaz sat on the drivers seat while Sidharth was waiting outside, shehnaaz saw him not getting into the car and shook her head
Shehnaaz:sit in the car Sidharth
He immediately got into the car and Sana started driving, there was silence in the car.
