NSA, CHANDIGARH, MORNING

Sid woke up at 6 in the morning, freshened up, took a bath and ordered for his breakfast from the mess, he finally picked his phone after last evening to check the notifications. There were messages from his family he replied to those and then there was another message, it was from Shehnaaz, the same message she sent yesterday night before sleeping, he opened her chat box and read the message, instantly a smile plastered across his face.
The message read:Hey, kaise ho, zyada stress mat lena, tum aur tumhara mission successful hi hoga cuz tum ho hi best(wink emoji), jaldi mission complete karo aur wapas aao, miss u(pout emoji)

This was so unlike Shehnaaz, she wasn't someone to message these sweet miss u stuff, but she did, for him and this thought made Sid smile. He replied to her with a
Aww so sweet of u, tysm, will be back soon(heart eyes emoji) , also good morning (smiles)

He got ready, unknowingly smiling after having breakfast and went off to work on the mission with his team mates wearing bullet proof jackets and carrying all security equipments required.

SEHGAL HOUSE, MUMBAI

Shehnaaz woke up in the morning, freshened up and sat down on her bed, picking up her phone, she was greeted with Sid's message, she opened it and smiled ear to ear and wished him a good day too. After that she went out side and had breakfast with her family, she then bid bye to them as they left fir their respective work places. After they left, she sighed and sat on the couch in the living room, switching channels on the TV, she was bored to say the least, there was nothing to do, no one to talk to until her family comes back in the evening. Her days were usually the same in the leave period from her job, lazing around and spending time with family when they're home, meeting friends sometimes.

It was night, Shehnaaz after spending the usual family time was in her room, scrolling through her phone when she got a call from Sid brightening up her mood, she picked it up and said
Sana:heyy
Sid(tired) :hiii
Sana:u sound tired....
Sid:hmm... Today was a lot tiring for first day of a mission.... But we did some amazing discoveries.....
Sana:waah that's nice
Sid:yeah... Aise hi speed se sab hua toh jaldi hi mission complete ho jayega.
Sana:woww.. That's even nicer...
Sid:acha..... Someone seems to miss me haaaaan
Sana:who......
Sid:u
Sana:lol no ways
Sid:yes ways sweetheart....
Shehnaaz felt something different hearing him call her sweetheart, it was the first time he did that , he has tried for a long time subconsciously to call her something like this and today he finally did.
Shehnaaz:whatever..... Anyways how's aunty and uncle?? (She tried changing the topic)
Sid:yeah they're good.... Cribbing about my work hours as usual
And they continued talking on various random topics, after around 45 mins they bid bye and slept peacefully.

1 MONTH LATER
In this 1 month, Sidnaaz have grown closer, they aren't able to talk daily on calls bcuz of the mission and it's execution but they try to squeeze out time and have a talk atleast  once in 2/3 days and exchange messages.Today morning Shehnaaz got a call from NSA, they have posted her for a mission in Ladakh for which she is leaving today, the mission would require atleast 2/3 months to complete.

After meeting her family and bidding bye to them, she left for the airport. After reaching the airport she called Sid and surprisingly enough he picked it up.
Sana:heyy, tune utha liya phone, mujhe laga tha fir se record pe jayega...
Sid:ha wo thoda time hai abhi, travelling kar rhe hai ek location ke liye
Sana:acha... Aur ab toh pata nhi kitne time baad baat hogi ache se
Sid:hmm.... But try karte rehna agar lag jaye phone... Mein bhi karta rahunga...
Sana:haaa.... Acha ab bye, flight take off ke liye ready hai..... Byeee
Sid:bye take care, fateh karke aana(win and come back) and message me once u reach.
They chuckled and kept the phone.

(Shehnaaz was going to Ladakh for her mission, and that too the part where the network connectivity is very poor almost nil, that's why they were discussing on how they wouldn't be able to talk now)

Shehnaaz reached Ladakh at night and left a message for her family and Sid about the same. After freshening up she slept due to the tiredness of the journey, next morning they were to meet their colleagues and start the planning and execution of the mission.

NEXT MORNING, LADAKH
Shehnaaz woke up and got ready for the meeting, had her breakfast and walked towards the conference room. After reaching the conference room, she was pleasantly surprised to see someone, she smiled and tapped his back, the man turned to her and was equally surprised, he smiled and moved forward to hug her which she reciprocated. After breaking the hug, Shehnaaz said
Sana:ohhhh my godddd what r u doing here.....
He raised his eyebrows
Sana:oh yeah of course for the mission, how stupid of me.....
Man:stupid... Yeah that's true
She glared at him and he smiled teasingly
They were about to talk further when the chief of NSA, Ladakh along with some other seniors entered the room. The meeting was started, Shehnaaz was heading the meeting and was excellently handling everything and chalking out the plan for the mission along with her colleagues. The mission was a dangerous one like all their other missions, it was about terrorism, they had to nab the terrorists who had managed to hide as locals here in Ladakh, this was a confirm information by their intel.

After the meeting which went on for hours, Shehnaaz and the other agents set off to different locations as per decided in the meeting. The entire day was spent but sadly they couldn't find anything worthwhile but not losing hope they decided to continue tomorrow and hoped for a better tomorrow.

Shehnaaz reached her room in the NSA Quarter after having dinner with her colleagues , she was sitting on the bed scrolling through her phone, a phone with zero network,she was scrolling through the photos, she missed her parents, her family and not so surprisingly Sidharth as well. But she couldn't contact any of them, they were times there would be network like told to them but now was not that time she guessed. Sighing she slept being exhausted by the day.

NSA CHANDIGARH
Sid had a pretty rough day today, they had to deal with a huge drug dealer gang and that lead to bullets being fired by both sides, unfortunately the gang was quick to fool the NSA squad and managed to come out of their hold, it was very upsetting for them to have caught them and still lost them.They had to answer the seniors and that was a whole lot of another headache. Sid had bruises on his stomach and knees which he got while fighting and defense, luckily he dodged the bullets well. It was about a month and a half, they had managed to perform beyond excellence, the mission was going faster than planned but today's defeat was upsetting, still keeping their valour and confidence high the agents went off to sleep for an even successful tomorrow. Sid after taking his medicines and having a talk with his family went off to sleep, not before thinking about Shehnaaz, he missed her and wanted to talk to her so bad but of course couldn't do anything.
