SHUKLA HOME, 7:30 PM Sidharth was sitting on the couch of the living room with his brother n sil(sister in law) and was watching as his mother ran across the rooms muttering God knows what and his father walking behind her asking her to calm down, he smiled looking at the scene.
Sidharth:mommmmm, kya ho rha hai?? Aap toh aise tayar ho the ho jaise Shaadi mein ja rhe hai hum Sakshi glared at him and before she could say something, Shaurya teased Shaurya:oye hoyeeee, badi jaldi hai Shaadi ki bhai Saab ko Sidharth rolled his eyes and looked at his mom Sakshi:kya dekh rha hai, ab mein tayar bhi na ho??tayari bhi nahi karun?tum sab ka kya hai, sab ke ka am karke ab mein apna dekh rahi hun tog sabko jaldi machi hai, huh.... And this shut everyone up. Sakshi went inside to see something while Sidharth acted like he's busy on his phone to not give his bhai bhabhi a chance to tease him but how is it even possible. Sargon:Shauryaaaaaa..... Tumhe nahi lagta aaj kal koi much zyada hi phone or rehne laga hai And Sidharth felt to bang his head but continued being nonchalant about it. Shaurya smirked and replied Shaurya:hainaaaaa, par ab jab hum restaurant pahunch jayenge tab unko phone bhi side mein ho jayega Sargon:of course, jab aamne saamne ho toh phone ki kya zarurat hogi, kyu Sidharth?? Sidharth:kya Sargun? Kuch bol rhi thi tum? Sargun:acha ji, anjaan ban rhe ho, bacchu Sidharth just rolled his eyes and called for his mom Sidharth:mommmm, r u done?? 8:35 baj gaye. And immediately glared at ShauGun, so that they don't start again. Sakshi:ha chalo, chalo, it's getting late, tumlog ma humeshaate karwate ho Saying so, she zoomed out of the house leaving the Shukla's standing there open mouthed.
SEHGAL RESTAURANT,9:07 PM The Sehgals except Paridhi (Shehnaaz's sil) had reached the restaurant and were sitting in the private family chamber with Shehnaaz's father and brother joining themthem waiting for the Shukla's with nervousness now kicking in for Shehnaaz. She was sitting and fidgeting with her fingers, looking at her Nidhi slapped on her hands and said Nidhi:tch... Shehnaaz, calm down, u were fine till now Shehnaaz:I am fine Nidhi:can see (rolled eyes) The Shukla's reached the restaurant and were greeted by Rishab and Nandini snd then were guided to the private chamber. Sidharth who had managed to be calm all the while, started feeling anxious after seeing her family instantly.
SEHGAL RESTAURANT, PRIVATE FAMILY ROOM Rishab:ayiye bhaisaab, bhabhiji ago baccho... Yaha, yeh humara private room hai for families Arvind:arre waah, yeh badiya hai, privacy bhi achi hai Everyone smiled, not knowing what to converse when Shaurya cleared his throat to ease the environment and said Shaurya:Namaste aunty uncle, mein Shaurya, Sidharth ka bada bhai, yeh hai Sargun, meri wife, yeh............, aur yeh toh aap jante hi honge, Sidharth. Sidharth:Namaste He said smiling the widest he ever did in his life due to nervousness,he smiled so wide that his parents gave him a weird look while ShauGun and Shehnaaz bit their lips trying to control their laughter. The Sehgals greeted the Shukla's and the Nidhi introduced the Sehgals one by one Nidhi:..... Bhai ki wife Paridhi bhabhi will be here soon aur yeh haiiii Shehnaaz. Shehnaaz:Namaste She said with a very minimal smile again due to nervousness which made Nidhi pinch her on the back to give a more friendly smile, she looked at her mother who glared and indicated her to touch their feet, Shehnaaz obliged and went to touch their feet when Arvind stopped her saying Arvind:arre beta kya kar rhi hi... Betiyan pair nahi chooti Sakshi:Shehnaaz baccha, aapko pair choone ki zarurat nahi hai, sada khush raho Saying so Sakshi hugged her and Shehnaaz instantly felt all the nervousness easing out, she gave them a bright smile and stood beside Nidhi. Sidharth smiled looking at his mom hugging Shehnaaz while her parents felt happy seeing the Shukla's being so warm towards their daughter. Kartik:ayiye aap sab baithiye na Everyone settled down and started talking on random topics while SidNaaz kept stealing glances at eo and were also subtly teased by their siblings for this. The food was being served when Paridhi walked in saying Paridhi:I'm so sorry, late hogaya shoot pe, Namaste uncle aunty, Namaste The Shukla's except Sidharth looked shocked seeing her, Sakshi broke the silence and said Sakshi:Kaira Malhotra!!!! Paridhi felt shy at being addressed by her very famous reel name Sargun:Shehnaaz, she is ur sil?? Shehnaaz:yes bhabhi Shagun:oh my goddddd, She is my favorite actress Paridhi:hi... Then everyone got introduced to Paridhi and after a mutual admiration session, they got back to the random talks when Arvind cleared his throat making everyone look at him Arvind:toh jaise ki hum sab jaante hai ke hum yaha kyu baithe hue hai!!! Toh, bhaisaab..... And there, Sidnaaz again felt a wave of nervousness in them, they were finally going to raise the topic of importance here. Rishab:ji bhai..... Sidharth beta humari pehle bhi baat ho chuki hai Sidharth nods Rishab:toh, uss din tum Shehnaaz ko propose karne wale the, aur tumne kiya bhi, jiska jawab ha tha of course... Sidharth:ji Rishab:meine suna hau tumhare baare mein.... Achi baatein, aur Shehnaaz ne bhi bohot tareef ki hai. Sidharth smiled at that Rishab:beta, tum ache insaan lagte ho, aur agar humari bacchi ne pasand kiya hai toh hume uspe bharosa hai, bas khush rehna aur humari bacchi ko khush rakhna He said looking at Nandini as a way to indicate that both of them are saying this to which Nandini smiled acknowledging it. Sidharth had this urge to dance right there but he controlled himself and smiliny said Sidharth:don't worry aunty, uncle, she'll ways be happy and with her I'll always be happy too. Everyone smiled at his words and Shehnaaz blushed. Sakshi:dekhi toh kaise sharma rahe hai dono.... ab toh ek taraf se ha sunke yeh haal hai, dono taraf se sunke toh tomato na ban jaye dono Everyone looked at her so she said Sakshi:ha bhai ha, humari taraf se bhi ha hai She said looking at Arvind with a smile which he returned. Sakshi:Shehnaaz bacche, tumhari bohot tareef suni hai Sidharth se aur tumhe milke sab waisa hi laga jaise usne bataya, wahi pyaari si ladki, welcome to the family beta And boom the entire room beamed with joy and laughter, and everyone hugging and congratulating eo. SidNaaz looked at eo, with their eyes filled with love and shining in happiness.
After dinner and endless talks, the Shukla's and Sehgal's were bidding eo bye when Sidharth asked Sidharth:uhmm uncle, aunty, would u mind if I drop Shehnaaz a bit later, I'll be leaving tomorrow early morning and.... Shehnaaz looked at the floor as if it was the most interesting stuff on earth, she really wanted to spend some time with him and celebrate the YES with him and also,he's leaving early morning tomorrow, they won't be able to meet then. Rishab and Nandini looked at eo, and Nandini said Nandini:sure beta, ab toh officially family approved ho tum dono Everyone laughed at the blushing duo and left for their home leaving SidNaaz behind.
