After we got into the car my parents waved goodbye as Mr. and Mrs.Penn waved goodbye too. I guess this was going to be the beginning of a new adventure. Well maybe at least better than our last one.
It's going to take us about 16 hours to get to Florida. I can't wait till we get there, but no matter how excited we were Kendal and I couldn't stay awake. I slept for 3 hours then I woke up Kendal and it was 1:00 am in the morning. It was still dark and Mrs.Penn was now driving, while her husband was sleeping.
I wish that my family could do this one day, but with Bryan we could never do that because he hated to drive so far. I hope my dad considers it and wants to travel.
During the drive Kendal and I saw glowing balls of light and we thought it was shooting stars. We wished on them, but I didn't ask her what she wished on and she didn't ask me. There were three that fell, but only one of them made it to the ocean. It had a blue light and left a streak in the sky. We heard a boom and then water shoot up into the air. Kendal clapped and her mom laughed she said,"Hey girls, that's the beach where will be staying!"
Kendal smiled at me, but it took me a while to smile back especially after what I thought was really in the water. My mom and I went through Bryan's stuff after he left and threw most of it away, but we found a book on the keys and turns out there are three more, Earth, Water, and Wind. I only have fire, but I need to find the others before he does!
