Ch. 5 Trapped

When We finally stopped jumping Mrs. Penn walked up to us and said," What are you girls so excited about?"

I panicked and rushed for an excuse. I picked up a shell and said,"This looked so interesting we thought it was beautiful!" I turned to Kendal who was nodding her head and nodded back.

"We'll that's just great girls," Mrs. Penn exclaimed walking away.

I laughed at Kendal because she had said nothing the whole time. She said,"Why are you laughing at me? You're the one who came up with a terrible lie."

"Hey, I don't like to lie to your mom. At least she doesn't think we are crazy!"

"Yeah most moms think its odd when their daughters find magical keys in the ocean!" We laughed and stuck the other key on the necklace.

I put it around my neck and we looked out into the ocean and there was a kid calling,"Help me, please I can't swim!"

"Kendal look, that kid!"

Before I could dive in I heard her say,"What kid," and dive in after me. We swam out into the ocean farther than we did before. When we got there there was no kid. The yelling had stopped and I swam down lower. He must have went under and not come back up. I tried to swim back up, but I couldn't it was like something was pulling me.

I stopped trying to swim up and then looked down. There was a lady pulling me down or what I thought was a lady. She had long black flowing hair and it was beautiful, but I was to distracted to even look closer that I opened my mouth and started to shout. Then I was pulled down further and into a cave.

When we got in there wasn't water just the lady and a man. I started to cough my lungs out and the lady said,"Is this who you wanted?"

He laughed,"That's the one!" They both walked over to chairs and sat down.
I looked around and I saw Kendal sitting against the cave also coughing.

The man said,"So, are you happy to see me. I bet you thought you would never see me again?" He laughed and waited for a response. I didn't even have to look at him to know who it was.

I turned my head,"What do you want Bryan?"

"Nice to see you too, but that's not my real name. Just call me Calon."

The lady with the black hair said clearing her throat,"What about me, I helped too?"

He said,"Oh this is my sister," she interrupted,"Big sister!" "Yes, my big sister ,Corona, she helped me escape!"

Kendal shouted, "Why would you help such an evil person escape. You should have left the sick bas....," I interrupted her before she got herself into some serious trouble,"Kendal I'll handle this. Why do you have Kendal because you only need me?"

Corona responded,"Because darling she's your friend isn't she, and she knows as much about the keys as you do!"

I was furious,"This is getting really old. Just give up, you are never going to get it!"

Calon said, "Oh, we aren't going to take it from you, you will give it to us."

"Never, you think that you can just hold us here and we will give you the key?"

Calon was obviously getting aggravated and said,"We'll maybe you will!" He started to walk out and I waved my hand to throw fire at him, but Corona gave me one look and waved her finger. There was instantly shackles on Kendal and I.

She turned to him and said,"What are big sisters for?" They both laughed and walked out of the room as the shackles disappeared and Kendal and I were now in two cages sealed by Corona's magic.
