When we got to the resort I had know exactly what I was going to do. I had lots of time to think and first thing in the morning Kendal and I would get breakfast. After that we would explore the hotel and see if they have a game room. Even though Kendal is my best friend it's still fun to compete against her and when she wins she's a good sport about it, unlike me.

Kendal's mom got out of the car and stretched. She said,"Okay, Penn family lets get all of our bags out, but leave the extra things in."

Kendal rubbed her eyes and said, "Got it, mom!"

I helped her drag out our bags and left in the things we wouldn't need. Mr.Penn checked us in and the lady at the front desk gave us a room key. We got on an elevator and road it to the third floor. After a few shakes and jerks the door opened again and we all squeezed out.

Mrs. Penn pulled the room key out her pocket, and opened the door. She said,"Go on in!"

I took a deep breath and entered, it was wonderful. There were three beds and a kitchen. It was huge and the best of all it had a balcony! I walked over to the balcony and opened the door I felt a gust of wind hit me and I never noticed how close we were to the ocean.

The oddest thing was that there were tons of people at the resort. But no one was on the beach. It's probably because it is 3:00 am in the morning.

Kendal's mom turned on the tv and said,"So, how's the view?"

I responded," It's ..it's great!"

Mr. Penn smiled and said, "That's what I first said."

After I stared at the spectacular view Kendal and I stayed up and watched tv. We were watching a breaking news story about an explosion on the beach.

I said, "Kendal that's what we saw in the car!"

"What do you think it is?"

I knew what she was thinking and I pulled out Bryan's book. I read to the third key it was the element of water.

We read it together out loud," When this key is around the others it will attract the surrounding keys. If there is water near it will cause a vibration of the key and make it move towards the water source. Without the right control this can cause extreme explosions in large bodies of water."

I looked at her and she said, "Do you think that's it?"

"No, it's probably just a coincidence," I lied, "You know probably just some flammable space junk."

After looking at the book some more we went to sleep, I mean Kendal went to sleep.
