Lost and found

Chapter 3

As he arrived home he was tackled into a hug by his best friend gyuwoo who was 4 days older than him

"Hey gyuwoo Hyung" Jihan squealed as he hugged his bestfriend

"Jihan you took so long"

"I guess I had too much fun that I lost track of time but guess what I made a new friend today"

"Really?" He asked getting up from the ground

"Yeah and his names kwanon"

"I hope I can meet him" gyuwoo said jumping up and down

"Yeah he said he is gonna go to the park tomorrow so you can meet him there"

"Yay ok" they both laughed as Jihan took of his shoes and placed them on the shoe rack

"JIHAN, GYUWOO COME SIT DOWN ITS TIME TO EAT" said mingyu who was in the kitchen cooking some food

"Ok" said the two boys as the raced to the kitchen to sit down as they were starving. As they were sitting down mingyu started to put out the plates for them
"Where's dad?" Gyuwoo said

"He's gone to pick jeonghan and Jun Hyung up from work" said mingyu putting some food on their plates

"so they are not gonna eat with us" Jihan said pouting sadly

"Umm not today but maybe tomorrow,  I'm sure jeonghan Hyung will be really tired when he comes and would want nothing more than to sleep he might not even eat his food unless I force him" mingyu said remembering the time when he had to shove the food into jeonghans mouth as he wouldn't eat it due to fatigue

"Oh" Jihan simply said and continued eating his food gyuwoo felt sad for his best friend and wanted to cheer him up

"Don't worry jihan I'm sure they will eat with us tomorrow"

"How about we have a picnic tomorrow in the park it's jeonghan and Jun Hyung's day off tomorrow and the café doesn't open on Sundays" mingyu said smiling at the two

"Yeah that would be nice" Jihan said mood changing as he was now happy and excited to have a picnic. That seemed to cheer the two boys up as they wouldn't stop talking about it whilst eating their food mingyu just smiled at the two chatterboxes

"Ok now both of you hurry up and then head off to bed so you will have lots of energy for tomorrow"
"Ok!" Both boys said and they continued eating

When they were done they hurried off to bed excited for the next day. Mingyu chuckled at them as he tucked them into bed and turned off the lights, gyuwoo and Jihan shared a room with each other they had a bunk bed Jihan slept at the top whilst gyuwoo slept on the bottom.

Mingyu tucked the boys to bed and went down to warm the food up as it was now cold again.
He was putting the food on the table when he heard the front door opening he went to them
"Hey guys hurry up and go sit down the food is on the table" mingyu said to the guys who were just hanging up their stuff

"Ok thanks" they guys said smiling and heading off to the kitchen except from jeonghan

"I'm not hungry" jeonghan said walking to the stairs

"Oh yes you are you haven't eaten anything all day and you were complaining to me at work that you were starving" Jun says looking back at them

"See you are and if you don't eat your food I won't hesitate to shove it down like last time" jeonghan shuddered remembering that time

"Ok ok I'll eat" he said hurrying to the kitchen

"Good" mingyu said smiling again and walking to the kitchen where the rest were.

They all started to eat the food that mingyu made "did you put the kids to bed?" jeonghan asked shoving some food in his mouth, he was really hungry. At first when he had glanced at the food he didn't feel like eating it, but once he took a bit he couldn't stop all of his stress and worries all gone with that one bite

"Yeah and tomorrow we are all going to the park together and spend time there as a happy family since you both have a day off and we don't open the shop on Sundays" mingyu said looking at them

"Oh yes it's been a long time since we spent time together" jeonghan said smiling

"we have all been busy with work and stuff this would be a good family day" wonwoo said shoving some chicken in his mouth

"So it's settled we are gonna have a picnic tomorrow" mingyu said informing them

"Yeah and then we can have ice cream too" Jun said Smiling like a kid

"Aish you kid" wonwoo smiled as he smacked his head

They finished their food and bid each other goodnight. Jeonghan checked on Jihan who was fast asleep in his bed and walked over to him. Bending down to his sleeping form he stared at his son sadly and gave him a kiss on his forehead
"Sorry I'm not around most of the times, I wish it didn't have to be like this" he muttered sadly before leaving the room. The face that he tried so hard to forget about was getting harder and harder to forget about especially when his own son was starting to look like him.
