Jin stood there, looking mercifully at Jinae's angry figure walking away. He felt so guilty and ashamed. He had dragged her into this situation and made her life difficult. He was frustrated. He thought of things he could've done or said to change the situation's outcome. Nothing was worse than watching someone you care about look up at you with pain in their eyes. All he wanted was to apologize to her for his actions, he didn't mean to yell at her, and he should've known better. Jin was just caught up in his head. He was angry, and the conversation he had with Jihyo, and all he wanted was to explain to Jinae what he meant.

Although her words cut him deep like knives, they made him think. He thought about the way he treated her.

How confused and lost she must feel.

He sighed and threw his head back, silently cursing at himself.

"Fuck" he murmured

"You need to tell her Jin, Tell her how you feel," a voice said coming from behind him.

He turned to the small-framed lady behind him.

She was about 5'4 with small eyes and short honey-blonde hair.

"Byul? What are you doing here?" Jin said with a small smile "I thought you didn't need to come on campus anymore?"

She smiled "Yeah uh about that" she nervously chuckled "I uh didn't submit my final piece in time so the teacher is making me do it again, I gotta come on campus and finish"

"typical Byul," Jin said as She pulled him to the side to sit on a bench that occupied the hallway

They sat in silence for a bit. It was a comfortable silence and they enjoyed it.

Byul got up and walked up to the vending machine a few feet away without saying a word. She put two coins in and pressed the buttons, selecting the flavor she wanted. The machine made a slight buzzing sound and a few seconds later two canned drinks fell out.

Picking the drinks up and made her way back to the bench, handing Jin one of the cans.

"Apple...you still remember," he said with a smirk on his face.

She sat down beside him and the two opened the can in unison. They both took a sip and Byul sighed with satisfaction

"Lemon..just like old times huh?" Jin nodded in agreement and took another sip of the bubbly drink and smiled.

"Jin?" Byul called

Jin hummed in response, turning his head toward the blond-haired girl

"Don't be selfish. As your senior and friend, it's my job to tell you when you're wrong and in this situation you're wrong. I know I shouldn't intrude on anything you've got going on but it was pretty loud and I feel like you need some guidance as of right now" She took another long gulp of her drink and looked at Jin.

Jin nodded his head and hummed in response.

"Thanks and I know im wrong Byul " he murmured "I'm just as lost as she is, I like her...and I always have liked her. I was just so caught up in-"

"Not asking for an explanation Jin" Byul interjected

" I don't need to know what you did that's something that you need to tell her. She's the one you owe it to not me. But to put it simply, you need to communicate better with her. Your anger was misdirected and she was an easy target, unfortunately. " She paused to take another sip

"You need to tell her everything let her know what's going on in your mind, Even if there's not much going on in there" She burst out laughing

Jin chuckled

"Thank you for always being real with me" He smiled

"Anytime, that's what friends are for" Byul smiled back, and they both clanked their cans together in agreement

"You know I don't think I can even think of a time where you've ever sugar-coated anything with me. " Jin said

"Yeah," she said "Never really felt the need to, I'd rather just be real and upfront. She shrugged her shoulders, shooting jin a silly look.

Jin hummed in agreement, noticing her silly look.

Moonbyul stood up guzzling her drink down. She finished up and threw the can in the nearest trash can.

Jin followed in her footsteps and repeated her exact actions. They did this in complete silence until she broke the silence.

"Jin.."

"Yeah..?"

"I can see you've got a lot going on that you've haven't and refused to speak about.."

She walked towards him and placed her hand on his shoulder, patting it against the freshly pressed uniform jacket.

"Whatever it is that troubles you, just know it'll be alright soon." She smiled and turned on her heels to walk away, leaving the man standing in the place he stood.

"...yeah I hope so"  he sighed
