God sake. Duck's looking paler by the minutes. Everyone has noticed that, all but Kenny.

Chuck:"Got to be hard on ya, eh? Four adults taking care of five kids; no disrespect, son."

I look at everyone and he is right. We are all that is left and with just a few weapons.

Me:"It is."

Joel:"We'll be fine. Greater numbers and all that stuff."

Chuck:"This one's gonna grow up quick."

Ben:"I already am."

Chuck:"I don't doubt it, son."

Katjaa:"LEE!"We turn around and see Duck... his coughing blood?!"Lee. I need you. Right now."I walk toward her."I need you to go get Ken."

Me:"What's..."

Katjaa:"Would you get that off his face? My hands are full here."Okay. I grab a rage that was on the floor."Thank you. Could you just get that off his face, please?"She... doesn't want... Of course, she wouldn't want to say it. I wipe away the blood from Duck's face and look at the blood stain. Poor kid."He's out of time. We need to stop this train."

Me:"Okay."

Katjaa:"Please."

I turn to Joel and Ellie and Joel nods his head. Good. I exit the boxcar and walk all the way to the front of the train and enter the cab and walk to Kenny.

Me:"You need to stop the train."I see his head slightly turning to me then he looks back at the controls. You can't ignore this, not your wife and son."Katjaa needs you, Kenny."

Kenny:"Duck will be fine."

Me:"He won't be. He's going, Kenny."

Kenny:"What is the goddamn deal? He's a little sick, but we can't just quit. It's a scratch! He's not like the others. Jesus, all y'all are just makin' it worse."

Me:"You're in denial!"

Kenny:"And you've given up! On Duck, on EVERYONE!"

Me:"STOP IT, GODDAMN IT!"

Kenny:"Fuck you, Lee."

Me:"You're gonna listen."

Kenny stands up.

Kenny:"Or what?"

I know that face. That was the same face he did when he argue with Larry the first time. He's ready to punch me I the face.

Me:"Calm down and-"

Kenny:"How the fuck do you 'calm down' after a day like today?"

Me:"By talking to your friend."Kenny sat back down. He's still angry. I get that he might think that, but he has been angry and determined ever since... since... Hold on."You think you're the reason Duck was bitten. Like you had this coming, or something. You didn't kill Hershel's son."

Kenny cover his face.

Kenny:"Yes, I did."He removes his hands from his face."And now it's catching up to me."

Me:"That's not what went down. You looked out for your kid and a bad thing happened to someone else's."

Kenny:"There ain't no way this world lets my son live when I helped put someone else's in the ground."

Me:"That's not the way it works. You know that."I put my hand on his shoulder and he turns his head with a bit of anger."Stop the train, man."

His face turned into sorrow and then look back at the controls. He push a lever and the train stops. We climb down and walk toward Katjaa who already is down. We see her comforting Duck as he heavily breathes.
