Third Person POV

"Momma, where did grandma go?" The six year old girl asked peering up at her mother.

The girls mother froze her actions before slowly shutting the book she had been reading.

"What's with this question?" The mother asked the little girl.

The six year old simply shrugged her shoulders.

"Grandma went on a trip." The mother said with a forced smile.

The little girls face brightened before it dropped.

"Why didn't grandma invite us? Grandma always invited us when she goes on trips." The six year old asked her mother.

The mother fought for words to tell her daughter.

"I'm not sure." The mother responded with a sigh.

"I miss grandma." The girl said laying back in her bed and closing her eyes.

The mother looking up towards the sky, a string being pulled at her heart.

   "Me too."
