"She really likes those Lilac's" The maid whispered to another. "It might be because of the queen's latest illness." "Sh! Remember what the king told us." loudly whispered to the other maid. "Your right, We should get back to cleaning before the headmaster gets mad."
Luna hummed as she watered the plants. "Hm, I think I got all of them." Looking at the soaked Lilac flowers. "Maybe I watered them to much.." Luna started feeling there petals. The 5 year old continued to water the rest of the flowers in the garden. "I should do the ones in the front next!" The 5 year old quickly hurried over to the well grabbing water and speed walking to the front of the palace. She began to water the other flowers listing them as she went. "Roses, tulips, Daisys, Sunflowers, Allium." Luna and her mom planted the ones in the front when she was 3. Her mother feel ill last year and hasn't recovered since. Luna picked out a couple of Lilac's from the garden before setting to her mother's room. Luna quietly peaked in to she her mother laying ill on the bed. "Mom look! I brought you Lilac flowers!" She said going to her mothers side and holding them up. "Thank you honey." She said ruffling the child's hair. "When will you get better?" Luna said putting the Lilac flowers on the nightstand. Luna's mother look at her with sadness before saying "Soon I promise."
Next day
"I'm sorry darling shes gone.." A maid said rubbing the child's back. Luna's mother had passed that morning. Luna sat on the ground one of her hands clinging on to the sheets while she cried. She had picked out some sunflowers for her that morning and went to take them to her. "No! she was fine when I came in here!" Luna shouted in tears. Luna mother had passed away talking to Luna about the garden and how it was doing. "She promised she would get better! She promised!" The child continued to cry her other hand still in her mother's. The Lilac flowers from yesterday were welted now. Luna sat on the stone hard ground staring at the Lilac flowers. Tears still streaming down her face. Luna wanted to smash all the Lilac flowers but wanted to keep them safe at the same time. "Its all your fault." Luna said in an angry tone staring at the flowers. "You brought bad luck to mom, and now she's gone." Luna plucked a petal off one of the flowers. "Why are you crying?" the person next to her asked. Luna jumped a little and said "Who are you?" The person chuckled before saying "How rude of be to not introduce myself, Dream XD" "Whats yours?" He held out his hand for her to shake. "Luna." she responded shaking his hand while wiping her tears with the other. "So, Why were you crying?" Dream XD asked looking at her with curiosity. "My mom passed this morning, And she promised she'd get better!" Luna said as tears started filling up in her eyes. "Hey, don't cry." He said wiping her eyes. "Just tell me all that happened."
After explaining
"You poor thing, that must have been awful." He said. Luna just looked at the Lilac flowers not saying anything. "I wish I was a god, a god that could bring people back." Luna said looking down. Dream XD chuckled. "I can help with that." He said. Luna looked up at him confused not sure if he was joking. "Since the missing of a god, there's been a vacancy open" He slowly lifted his hand toward her. "You could fill there role, All you have to do is take my hand and come with me." Dream XD said forming a smile behind his mask. Luna looked at his hand before slowly and hesitantly reaching for it. "LUNA STOP!" Luna looked to see her father at the arch of the garden. Luna's father quickly pulled her behind him. "Hello to you to, Karma" Dream XD said hes tone now seeming upset. "Why are you here, and what were you planning on doing with my daughter..." He said. Dream XD looked at Luna with a soft smile before turning to her father with a frown. "Trying to cheer her up, but it seems i'm unwelcomed here." He said turning around and opening a white portal. "Have a nice day, Luna" he said before walking through, closing behind him. "Luna, I need you to do one thing for me." Her father said kneeling to her level. "Never talk to that man again." His voice was serious and kinda frightened Luna. She nodded before taking his hand and walking inside.
