A gust of winds blows at your face leaving a cold pain on your cheeks as Tomoki's small talk in front of you passes with the wind. The talk of dango milk slaps you back into reality as the words intrigue your thought.
"How much dango milk this time y/n?" Your name seems to role off his tongue as it enters your ears smoothly provoking an answer.
"Uhm I'll have 7 dango milks this time, Tomoki." He nods from your answer placing them in a cloth bag one by one causing a small clink by each one. As the last one enters the bag he looks up at you giving the cloth bag full of dango milk and a smile. You smile back getting ready to leave until words caught your ears at the spot next to you prohibiting your leave.
"Hmm are these dango milks any good?" You turned back at the location the words came from in a quick turn. A man with ginger hair placed his hand on his chin staring at the cart full of the sweet drink. Studying the man you realize an answer has to be said back as the man asked you a question.
"We'll the drinks are very delicious and have a good amount of sweetness to them" The ginger man nod as your statement creating shines that glistened in his soft blue eyes. Taking his hand off of his chin, he placed it on his hip confidently.
"I'll take a dango milk please!" He gave Tomoki a handful of mora as he took the dango milk from Tomoki's hand thanking him. Still staring at the man he walked off with a skip in step out of distance in the streets. Turning back into thought you also gave Tomoki the money he deserved after you received the dango milk. Parting your ways from the seller you hang the cloth bag for of milk on your shoulder making your way down the stone streets of Inazuma ignoring any loud vendors calling for a deal. The chat of the bustling city quieted down as the cicada rings became louder with every step you took. Mindlessly you walk down dirt paths until the view of your wooden door popped in front of you. Grabbing the door handle you push the door open with no force as the door gives a low pitched squeak. Stepping in you immediately take your shoes off to not trace dirt while simultaneously place the bag of milk carefully on the big dining table near by. Taking bigger steps in you sit on the soft couch closing your eyes after a long day of doing commissions around Inazuma helping civilians with simple tasks. Taking a large breath in and heavily breathing out a sound at the front door caused you too groan as you just had sat down not even a minute ago. Getting up from your position another noise came from the door annoying you even more. Nearing the door you opened it giving a smile of annoyance towards whoever could possibly need you at this time.
"Hello y/n, may I please come in to discuss something urgent from the Tenryou commission." Sara, the adopted daughter of the Kujou Clan of the Tenryou Commission asked the question waiting for an answer. Sighing you nodded giving a hand motion allowing her unexpected entrance. Sara walked in with few steps refusing to walk deeper into your home and started speaking her thoughts.
"The Tenryou Commission has informed me that a portal has opened up near Araumi and they want you too investigate it as our soldiers aren't of right qualifications." Sara stooped into a bow pleading for an exception that you take the quest from Sara. Out of tiredness no questions came out of your mouth.
"Sure Sara, when do I start." Your monotone voice softly spoke making Sara rise out of her bowing position. She smiled proudly giving the answer.
"Tomorrow at noon is when we expect you too come traveler. We'll be waiting for you arrival until then" you nodded at her response as sara opened the door behind taking her leave without any farewells. With the task at hand for tomorrow you pushed it off making way to your kitchen. Rummaging around in your cabinets you grabbed a quick apple too bite into before you decided enough was enough and fall into your bed with full expectations to sleep. You threw the core of the apple away in a compost bin near the door outside and proceeded to your bedroom in the small house. Falling onto your bed the sheets flew around you giving you a small shadows of shade until it fully fell down the floor as sun shone threw your eyelids. Forcing your face towards your pillow the sun wasn't visible but sleep didn't seem in reach. You tossed and turned with your pillow on your face to block out the sun but sleep wasn't possible. You rose out of bed grumbling out of anger as you left the bedroom with no more intents of sleeping. Entering back into the first room you threw yourself on to the couch grabbing a book but the thoughts of the book didn't intrigue you, it was the thoughts of the man at the dango milk cart. His ginger hair glistened in the sun as his eyes gave slight sparkles but that was probably going to be the only encounter with him in your life, but the thought of talking to him again didn't seem like a tragedy.
