Eyes opening your ceiling never comforted you more as you saw your surroundings. Your room was small but everything about it kept you safe and calm until the memory hit you, Childes kiss, the kiss with the woman, the crying and screaming. Everything hit you like a train giving you a huge sting of a headache. Getting up from your bed you thought too check the living room if Childe was there, maybe making you breakfast, maybe there trying too comfort you, maybe their too kiss you again. Slowing creaking the door open you hoped Childe was standing there with breakfast in the table or sitting on the couch reading a book waiting for you too get up too take you somewhere too eat, but the house was dead, cold, and quiet. No books where on the floor, no breakfast, no Childe. Looking outside Childe wasn't there either. It seemed as if none of it happened. What if it was a stupid dream. Looking a second time in your tiny home, Childe was no where too be seen. What if it was all a dream since you just woke up, what if the argument never happened and Childe and you never kissed, but one thought that you didn't think of was. What if meeting Childe wasn't real. Grabbing a pair of clothing and towel from your room you walked too the hot springs behind your house keeping your eye open for Childe too meet up with him again later today, maybe get food at one of the restaurants or even have a picnic somewhere. Entering the hot springs heavy wooden door nobody with a ginger head came in sight as you placed your towel and clothes on the same rock you always place your things on. Almost like a deja vu experience. Undressing slowly you placed a foot into the water too see if it was refreshing too wash your mind of the previous events. Walking into the water you let it cover the entirety of you washing away the thoughts as you sat on a rock ledge under water. Taking it slow you carefully washed yourself avoiding your hair as you wanted too treat it last with care and effort maybe for Childe. Placing the back of your head in the water you washed it carefully having Childe in your mind until you didn't want too waste time in the water.
Walking up the steps into town you went to multiple stores too prepare for another picnic with Childe, first a book store, second a gift store, third a restaurant. With the book store the choice of two books came into mind, a romance novel and a biography of a famous traveler for Mondstat. The choice took you a few minutes but you finally settled on a book for Childe, the biography. You knew he likes adventures, he boasted about it when you both talked at the tea house, why not get him a book about something he likes. Making the purchase you placed it in a basket with a blanket you brought with you from your house when you came back from the hot springs. Climbing your way too the gift store you hoped too maybe see Childe but still he wasn't there. At the gift store you saw multiple things for sale, toys, cologne, charms. Only few things charmed your interest, you needed too pick wisely too please childe with the gifts so maybe he could keep them forever. Looking around the small store you set your eyes on the cologne asking for a smell of the options too choose the three they had was one that smelt slightly sweet, another smelt strongly of the woods burning your nose, the last smelt like old books peeking your interest. Through the subtle thinking you picked the sweeter one as sweet smells could remind you of Childe if he ever wore it. Placing the wooden box in the basket with your book and blanket, you walked across the street too the restaurant where you would buy Childe food. Childe said he wasn't a picky eater but you would someday find out his favorite food so you could treat him with it every time you met. Looking at the menu only few things caught you're eye but one thing stood out, buttered crab. Calling for the order the food came out quickly in a small wooden boxes wrapped in a small red ribbon. Grabbing the boxes you placed them both in your basket carefully too not ruin any of the presents you got Childe.
