The sounds of bird chirping whistled in the background as you stroked Childe soft hair gently as he fell onto your lap tiredly not knowing since he was asleep. Running your hands through his hair your heart seemed too skip a beat seeing his chest move up and down and his lips slightly parted too breath. Smiling at Childes sleeping face you still felt as if your heart stopped and everything around you paused except Childe. Intertwining your fingers with his locs the thought of Childe burst into your mind seeing romantic fantasies that you've read in books before but haven't yet experienced out of the thought of being tied down to a persons love and only their love terrified you, but the thought of Childe speaking the words 'I love you' didn't faze you.
Loosing your track of thought, Childe turned on your lap slowly opening his eyes softly his ocean blue eyes glimmered as you stared into them with pure awe in a trance. Before you could push yourself away from his eyesight Childe pushed himself away by getting off of your lap quickly covering his face almost in a shock. Looking at him you reached for his shoulder to ask what's wrong but he got up before you could even touch him
"Is.. everything okay- Childe?" Standing up with him he turned around with a grin on face and his hands confidently on his hips.
"Yes! I apologize for sleeping on your lap and I apologize for getting up so quickly and startling you!" Nodding at his apology you sat back on the blanket that was under you both and started placing the empty boxes of food and used utensils into the the cloth bog gently as Childe slowly sat onto the blanket as well almost pondering something on his mind. Placing the bag near against the tree trunk you decided to end the silence between both you and Childe, trying too find out what was on his mind.
"Childe? What's wrong? What's on your mind?" Asking hoping for an answer from your friend in front of you.
"Uhm I guess I had this weird dream yeah?" Nodding your head he continues in what he was saying. "Well there was this girl with blonde hair, it was almost like a bob but not and she had green eyes. She was... very pretty and walked up too me and told me that she loved me and told me she wanted to date me." Nodding with craving of continuation, he continued on with his odd story
"She said some stuff about me... she reminded me a lot of you in some ways! The confidence with her words, her laugh, even her face reminded me a bit of yours." Standing Childe grabbed the bag near the tree grabbing your hand and lifting you up as you stayed silent pondering what a similar person like you was doing in a dream as Childe. Seeing Childe fold the blanket the girl still stayed in your mind and childe calling a girl that looked similar too you pretty stuck to your mind.
Childe grabbing your hand you both started walking back to the city as the sun was nearing the horizon in the distance but Childe payed no attention to it. Entering the city it seemed to be less crowded then the morning before, children entering their homes, shops closing, and normal citizens walking home with full bags. Nearing Childes mansion it towered over you both as Childe slides to door open for you showing you in as you recognized the front areas of the huge houses entrance hall.
"I'm going to wash the dishes do you want to go I to the living room and wait or would you like to come with me?" Childe looked back with the boxes in his hands stacking and the bag on a table near the front door.
"I'll just go into a living room." Looking around Childe slides a door open next too the entrance showing an identical living room too the one you where in with Childe earlier this morning before you both went too the forest. Sliding the door shut behind you, you sat on the couch reaching for a book out of boredom not caring which book it was and what it was about.
Opening your book the words bored you as reading was never an interest but a knock at the front door peeked your interest instead. Hearing Childe come almost running down the halls your places your ear next too the door eavesdropping on whatever was happening at the door.
"Hello what do- why are you here" Childe voice sounded slightly muffled through the paper door but you could hear him none the less.
"Childe why hasn't you shown up at Uyuu restaurant? I was waiting for you all day too show up?" The other person talking with Childe in an annoyed tone
"I'm sorry, I got a bit busy today and I didn't have time too tell you" laughing it off a bit the other person responded
"Oh childe, I waited there all day for you too show up. There's gotta be a way too repay me." With curiosity you peaked through the sliding door a bit too see what was happened but before you could even settle in with a new position a women came into close contact with childe.
Your heart dropped through the floor as you saw the person kissing childe as childe hadn't pulled away. Even though you didn't like him, seeing him in that position with someone else made you feel something you've never felt before.
