Moments With The Trio

((Y/n)'s POV)

I went to Anne's championship tennis game. She was really good at the sport and she is really fun to watch.

She had won most of her games in this tournament and ended up getting to the championship. I came and watch all of the games in the tournament she played.

After a rough start, Anne ended up winning the game and with that the tournament. Her parents were very happy and celebrating with Anne. I was going to go and celebrate with them but I didn't want to interrupt their moment so I think we all just talk to her at school on Monday.

"Hey (Y/n)!" I hear Anne call for me. I look at her and she comes up and hugs me. I hug back.

"You know I love hugs Anne but what's the occasion?"

"It's thanks for coming to all my games"

"Hey no problem you're fun to watch, congratulations by the way"

"Thanks hey (Y/n) I wanted to tell you-"

"Yo Anne!" we hear some yell from the other side of the court. The person threw a ball at Anne and she caught it. It had writing on it. it said '2019 SJMS Championship Tenis Winner'

Anne looks at it "Hey check it out (Y/n) it's the game ball"

"I mean you did win so I'd be surprised if you didn't get it"

"Here I want you to have it" Anne hands me the ball.

"But you won you should keep it"

"Yeah I won but you came to every game in the tournament to cheer me on, so I want you to have it"

"But-"

"No buts it's yours now my parents are taking me back to the restaurant for a celebration. Do you want to come?"

"I mean don't you want to celebrate with your family?"

"Please (Y/n)"

"Okay Anne"

So I found out that this school has a chess club. I decided to check it out I don't know if I'm still any good at the game because I haveing played in a while but I love watching the game too.

When I walk into the classroom during a club meeting a see an epic game going on. I can't tell who the people are until I get closer. It was Marcy and some other dude.

The game goes on for a little bit until Marcy eventually wins. and the dude walks away defeated.

"And our undefeated champion wins again, congratulation Marcy Wu. Now is anybody else brave enough to take on the champ?" the teacher in charge of the chess club said. I raise my hand. "Ahh I see a hand, come forward and give it your best shot"

I come forward and sit in the chair across from Marcy. She looks shocked. "Hey," Marce why do you look so shocked?"

"I didn't know you played chess"

"Haven't in a while but yeah I play"

"Are you sure you're ready to face me"

"Bring it on"

We play for a while in a really close game. I realized that there had been a crowd that grew around us. I looked back at the board and realized that I could win and I think Marcy realized the same thing. I looked at her face and saw a mix of emotions. She looked concentrated on the game. She looked worried probably because she realized that she could lose. Sad probably because she would lose her undefeated streak. I can't do that to her, what if she doesn't want to be friends because I beat her in front of all these people. I want to throw the game and that's exactly what I do. I let her win and she takes the opportunity.
