The Dinner/Battle of the Bands

((Y/n)'s POV)

I knew everyone was watching but the only thing I was focused on was the fact that my hands were fading and I was becoming weaker and weaker. I looked at the gem and it was half purple. That should be enough right. I put most of my energy into my hands and pulled the gem off the pedestal.

I focus all my energy on making sure I'm visible and only physical in the hand I was holding the gem. I slowly turned around and looked at the gang. I use the same hand holding the gem to pull my hood down.

I waved a little. "Hey guys" I laughed nervously as I looked at all the shocked faces.

Marcy came running at me. Crap I'm not physical I quickly focus all my energy on becoming physical as Marcy hugs me. Anne followed close behind and Sasha walked up but didn't hug me as she just stood there awkwardly. 

"(Y/n)!" Marcy and Anne shouted in unison as they hugged me. Once they let go completely I relaxed and was able to just be visible again. 

It still took a lot of energy to even be visible but I can't let them know what truly happened to me. Knowing everything that each of them is going through, I can't do that to them.

"Here" I hold out my hand and Marcy did the same and I dropped the now purple gem in her hand.

"Where have you been, (Y/n)" Sasha asked, looking down, which was weird because Sasha's usual confidence was almost gone. She wasn't like this when she saw Anne or Marcy for the first time.

"You know around" I waved my hand a little.

"Why don't you come back to Wartwood with us? Then to Newtopia so we can go home" Anne said.

How I'm I supposed to say 'sorry actually can't do that because at some point I'm probably going to disappear and don't know how I'm going to explain why'

"Uhh sure why not"

As we walked back to the rest of the frogs and toads I saw Sprig looking at me coldly.

"Hi" I waved shyly. Sprig kept his glare.

Anne came up behind me. "(Y/n) this is Sprig, Polly, Hop Pop, and Grime"

"Nice to meet you all," I said even though I already knew all their names and a bit about each of them.

Everyone started walking out through the temple doors and back to the forest outside. Marcy came up next to me as we walked together.

"You were the one who actually solved the temple weren't you?"  Marcy asked.

"I have no idea what you're talking about"

"Yeah you do" She just walked ahead and caught up with Anne who was walking with the planters.

Grime was also up ahead walking with Sasha but when Sasha realized that I was alone she fell back and started walking next to me. I looked at her and forced a smile.

"Hey," she said not looking at me, and kept walking forward.

"Is there something I can do for you, Sasha?"

"What I can't just talk to someone I haven't seen in months?" I stay silent and kept walking forward. "Oh come on you can't still be mad"
