((Y/n)'s POV)
I started walking back to Wartwood. It was sort of a long walk but that was okay.
When I traveled all around Amphibia I was able to enjoy the scenery because this world was always so beautiful.
Now it's gray and dull, destroyed. I hate it so much, how can someone destroy all of this?
I continue thinking about how someone so cruel could ruin an environment, that is until I finally saw Wartwood.
My heart sank, by the looks of it it had been attacked. I walked further into the town. Nobody was there which was good, must mean that everyone got to safety.
I stayed invisible as I entered the town and towards the house, I entered the basement and saw that all of the town was there. Everyone was moving into the little caverns, some were digging deeper into the walls for more space.
I looked around for Sasha I didn't see her but I saw a room that was blocked by a red curtain.
I made my way there and into the room. It held the war table and board with battle strategies. But there in the room Grime was there trying his best to comfort a distraught-looking Sasha, wait distraught?
"Grime what if something happened to them, they should have been back by now" wait was she worried about me, I don't think I was gone that long.
"I'm sure they're fine, but this town needs you to be strong for them" Grime comforted, I mean he tried.
"They've been gone for four days Grime, what if they were captured?"
Four days! No, it wasn't that long, was it? I gasped silently, I failed, I wasn't here to warn them about the attack. No, it's my fault, my stupid problems got in the way and it messed everything up.
I looked over at the war table, it was the same as the one in the kitchen with the same markers on the map. I walked over, I noticed that there were extra markers beside the map.
I looked over to make sure that Grime and Sasha were still occupied. They continued talking but I tuned them out for the moment.
I made my hand physical and gently picked up two of the markers and placed them on the map where the two factories were. I'm not sure how much help it will bring but it's the least I can do after a failure in the first place.
I walked away from the map. When I looked back over to the two Sasha was sitting down and Grime had gotten up, saying that he was going to leave Sasha to have some time to herself.
Sasha wiped her eyes, had she been crying? She walked to the map and it didn't take her long to notice the new markers on the map.
She whipped her head looking all around the room for some sign of anyone.
"(Y/n) I know you're there" no she doesn't, she thinks I'm there but she never noticed before why start now? She doesn't truly know I'm here, no one ever truly knows I'm there. "Please (Y/n)" Sasha continues, I won't show myself, I can't face the failure of being distracted by my personal issues. "I need to know your okay, I already lost Anne and Marcy, don't make me lose you too" Sasha in a fit of frustration knocked over the helmet of authority that had been sitting on the table. I flinched back slightly.
Sasha sighed slightly, most likely realizing what she had done. She picked up the helmet and placed it on the table again. The didn't take her hands off of it or even lift her head. "Please (Y/n) if you're there please just talk to me, let me know your okay" Sasha pressed her hands into the helmet. "You can't do this to me, please"
I left the room quickly, not like it mattered, I know Sasha was talking to me, I know I should have said something, let her know I'm okay, anything. Of course, I didn't though, I failed, after convincing her I would succeed and that it was the best thing I could do to help. After reassuring her I would be okay and that she didn't need to worry. I fail both, I couldn't possibly face that. I have to make it up to her. I have to do something.
I leave to base again and look up at the sky. The castle, then it clicked. Marcy, I could check on Marcy. She had to be okay right, I'm sure she is if I go and see that she is at least alive.
I make my way up to the castle. I know it's a huge risk going here, but I need to make sure Marcy is okay and I can make it up to Sasha with reassurance that Marcy is okay.
I find myself in the throne room it's mostly empty. Well, the throne was empty and there were little to no guards.
The thing that stuck out like a sore thumb but the glass tank whose sole inhabitant was the one and only Marcy Wu.
I walked up to the tank. I looked at Marcy. She was in some sort of wet suit with an oxygen mask.
Oh, Marcy what has he done to you? I placed my hand on the glass, I made it physical so it didn't go through. I'm going to help you, Marcy, I promise. I'm pretty sure that the tank is the only thing keeping her alive.
I can't save her, why can't I do anything right? If I didn't hide behind a pillar I could have pushed Marcy away. If I did something, I'm supposed to help people, I'm supposed to be there for the people I love. Why did I hide?
I hadn't realized this but my hand had a purple hue embracing it. I looked at Marcy as the purple hue spread through my hand and surrounded the tank. Marcy's careless face scrunched up.
I immediately pulled my away and Marcy's face relaxed again. I looked at my hands as the purple faded. Did I do that, if so what did I do?
I shook it off, Marcy was at least still alive and responsive to whatever that was.
Suddenly I heard the door to the throne room open. I didn't stay to see who it was. I quickly left and made my way back to Wartwood.
I made my way into the base, I can figure out what was going but seeing Marcy like that, Ugh I just, geez why do emotions have to be so hard sometimes?
I know what I have to do though, even if I messed up so badly, I need to talk to Sasha.
When I finally reached the base, I saw that Sasha was currently helping with training. She wasn't wearing the helmet which I found strange but never the less I didn't want to just show up unannounced. As well as no one else but Sasha knew that I was sort of a ghost and all.
I went to the war room and noticed the helmet sitting on the table unmoved. I sat in the chair at the war table.
After about ten minutes Sasha entered the room. I became visible still sitting in the chair, "Hey Sasha" it took her a second to register I was there.
She held a shocked, yet relieved expression. "(Y/n)" she breathed as she smiled slightly.
