Liam's POV
We left the house, after saying goodbye to Corin. The car suddenly felt empty without the noises from his train. I couldn't wait to get off work but I knew we had a long day ahead. Now that Corin was with Katie, it was right back to the case.We sat back in the meeting room. God there were so many files. I took the first one that came to me. Of course it was the file that contains the copied pictures of the cases. We dug into the files.
"Ok, so, back to the theory we had about the man and his girlfriend... what if it was just that."
"While the theory is great to imagine, we have no evidence to support it or files to check who lost there girlfriends..." I only realised how mad I sounded when she looked at me with a pissed off face.
"Ok, calm down, what's wrong?"
"The case, there's some part we're missing, lets take a trip back to the crime scenes yeah?"
"Yeah I guess, come on."
Although it felt like a doss, its something that had to be done.
Climbing out of the car the cold air hit me like a brick to the face. God I hated this time of year. I grabbed my coffee from the car and my hands suddenly began to burn from the roasting coffee, somehow it feels like a feeling I've been longing for.
Lexi began to take pictures, measurements and looking around. She pointed at what, first, seemed to be the sky.
"Look, CCTV."
"Well then, lets not waste time pointing and let's go look."
Walking into the store, it smelled like raw fish. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.
Corin settled in great, thanks for coming. U make everything easier:)x
~Katie
A big grin spread across my face. I thump across my chest made that smile disappear.
"Come on lovebird, sooner this is done sooner you can go home to your girlfriend"
I like that she makes it into a game because i know alot about her.
No problem baby, we'll talk later, love you x

I slapped my hand down on the counter. Nobody around...of course not.
"Excuse me? Anybody here?" I shouted around the shop while picking up the old broken bell sitting on the counter. How is this still open? Health centres my hole! A man slowly walked in, his back hunched, from old age I guessed.
"Ok, ok keep your panties on!"
"Sir, we're from the Dublin Police Centre. My name is Officer McFarlane, at the moment we are investigating a murder and we believe you may be able to help us."
"Well, Mr.McFarlane, I'm afraid I know nothin' about no murder, I'm no use to you sir."
"Actually Sir, you can be if you would let us look at your CCTV from the back warehouse of the shop."
"Why, of course officer, follow me."
We followed him through the dusty back room behind the shop.
"Here you go, everything should be on this. I don't know much about this, my grand daughter set this up, you do anything you need, officer."
"Thank you sir, greatly appreciated."
He left the room and I started into the CCTV footage from that night. We sat, watched and I could see Lexi taking notes, about what I wondered. It was just a mass of cars? Maybe she was looking for repeated passing cars. The sudden sound of her phone ringing made me jump. She stood up taking the call.
"We have to come back later." She paused as she looked at her now silent phone. "There's been another murder."
