LIAM'S POV
The stench hit me as soon as I stepped out from the car. I would give anything to be at home with Katie and Corin. I felt things were going really well between us.
"Ready?"
I picked my phone from my pocket and called the superintendent while Lexi talked to the witness.
"Same guy. Adam apple is missing again. We need forensics out here now. Thanks"
I'm getting sick of this man real quick. He has to mess up somewhere. We interviewed the witness while we waited on backup and forensics. The witness was Female, 44 and her name was Shannon. As I scanned the crime scene I noticed a person standing ontop of the building looking down at us laughing. I began to run.
"Hey, hey get back here. We need to ask you questions."
He began to speed up and I noticed that he must be trained. He turned back and stood staring at me. His hood was around her face too much to see his face. He took a brown bag from his pocket. Threw it at me and ran. I picked up the bag at supersonic speed and ran after him.
He was no where to be seen. I took a plastic glove from my pocket and opened the bag. The smell hit me like a ton of l bricks. I pulled it out. An Adam's apple...
