Katie's POV
I was so relieved when she left, I was worried sick, why did she leave so early? Did she see something wrong?
I could feel the heat of my hot water bottle off of my stomach. The feeling relaxed me. I heard the beeping sound of my phone. I searched for it around the couch. It was Áine.
"Hello?"
"Hello, Áine speaking, is this Katie?"
"Yes, hello Áine."
"Well, we have some exciting news for you!"
"Oh my god!"
I could hardly breathe. I knew by the tone of her voice she had a smile on her face.
"Yes, I can drop him over tomorrow, just to give you time to be ready, if that's ok?"
"Oh, yes perfect!"
"No problem! Thank you, Katie."
"No no thank you Áine!"
I was filled with excitement.
As I walked into the spare room it hit me i had no boyish things, and it seems they aren't giving him what was in his house.
I dialled Liam's number and he agreed to come shopping with me, once he finished his shift in two hours. I took out a catalog and began to look up televisions. I found a 38" flat screen. He's 1? How big would he need it. I decided that was ok and went to my room to get ready.
