CHAPTER 02

"Darating ba siya?" tanong ni Adams sa kaniyang asawa.

At habang nakatingin si Tyra sa kanya, iniisip nito ang kaibigan. She knew that she's a shy-type of a person but she will never fails her, at nasisiguro niya iyon.

"Yes, Love. She will come."

Sandaling katahimikan ang umikot sa kanilang pagitan. At habang kumakain, binibigyan niya ng pagkakataon ang pag-browse sa kaniyang phone.

"Anyway, how's the new girl from modern world, Rain?" Adams asked.

"She's not different among society's women," he simply answered.

Adams smiled. "She's better, isn't it?"

"She's beautiful and flirt kinda woman, but it will be fine. People change and that's it."

Tyra dialed her friend's cell, pero hindi ito sumasagot. "She kept ignoring my call," sabi pa nito at itinuloy ang pagsubo.

Sandali pa ay tumingin siya sa kanila at pasimpleng tumayo. "Excuse me for a while." Lumakad ito patungo sa labasan.

"I think her friend is here now," Adams gladly said.

"And maybe, I need to reset my environment. I badly need to change some stuff." Rain drank his wine. "The ambiance here is lil bit conservative and cold."

"My wife is conservative, and she's one of a kind," Adams said as he continued eating. "And yeah! You need to change everything about your house."

"No idea about coldness?" He asked.

"We both agreed about being cool." Adams paused a while. "That's normal and even Tiara, ayaw niya rin ang masyadong mainit na relasyon. Being plain would be better; it is slowly but surely."

Rain smiled. "Lahat nagbabago. People can't demand, but people changed because of realizations."

"Love is my favorite thing, Rain. It will make you fall many times, but it will raise you up more than many times."

Bakas sa mukha ni Adams ang isang saya mula sa matinding pagmamahal sa kaniyang asawa habang si Rain naman ay sumang-ayon sa sinabi nito. Hindi maipagkakaila na ito ay nananatili sa isang miserableng buhay.

"More years to cheers, Adams."

Natigilan lamang ito nang makita ang asawa't kaibigan nito habang papalapit sa kanila.

"Finally, they're here," sabi pa niya at ngumiti. He was amazed to the both of them as they looked cute and totally a sisterly in everything.

Tyra smiled, and he even does.

"You're late," pabirong sabi ni Adams.

"It's okay," sagot ni Tiara habang hawak ang braso nang kaibigan. "Atleast dumating ka." She's truly defensive when it comes to her.

"I'm sorry," she apologized.

"No need to say sorry." Umupo si Tyra sa tabi ng asawa. "It's okay."

Kaharap ni Adams si Rain, at kaharap naman ni Tiara ang kaibigan. Partnership ang naging tandem nilang apat. Adams smiled as he was looking to his wife, and her eyes was giggling. Pareho silang nagkakaintindihan habang bumabaling sa kanilang panauhin.
