Ember woke up the morning of the day before they would all be returning home. She had been unconscious for six days. There was worry that the affect of the Dementors had been so severe she might not have woken up. Madam Pomfrey was with Embet for five strait hours, first giving her strength Potions and Potions of nutrion and then she must of forced an entire shop worth of chocolate down her throat. As soon as Ember had woken up Madam Pomfrey sent word to Professor McGonagall and Dumbledore. When students saw them rushing to the hospital wing a rumour started going round that Ember had died. That's how Ron, Harry and Hermione ended up bursting into the hospital wing just as Madam Pomfrey was satisfied Ember was on her way to full strength. Ron and Harry were both pale with dread and Hermione was tearful.
"She's not - she didn't -" Harry started to say desperately to Dumbledore and McGonagall but he couldn't finish the sentence.
"What, Potter?" McGonagall said sharply.
Ember peeked around Madam Pomfrey to see what was wrong. Hermione gave a scream of joy as she sprinted over and wrapped her arms around Ember.
Ron and Harry has also run over, relief evident on there faces as they beamed and hugged Ember tightly. McGonagall was too touched to scold them that Rmber needed space and quiet. Ember only hugged them back as tightly as they hugged her.
"Thank Merlin!" Ron said, about ready to collapse with relief.
"Everyone was saying you were dead." Harry informed Ember.
Ember laughed.
"That's a bit far fetched, even for Hogwarts gossip." Ember said as Hermione still clung to her.
"I can see where they're coming from this time. You've been passed out for six days and then people see Professor McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore running to the Hospital Wing." Ron said.
"Did you say six days?" Ember said, startled.
Before Ron could be scolded by, practically everyone in the room, the door burst open again and the rest of Gryffindor Quidditch piled in. They had the same worry and dread on their faces as the trio had. Once they saw she was alive they gave massive whoops of relief. Fred shouted down the corridor to passing students "SHE'S NOT DEAD!" Before anyone knew it the whole of Gryffindor was outside the hospital wing and trying to get inside to see for themselves. There were a couple of Hufflepuff's in the mix like Justin Price, the keeper that saved her, Cedric Diggory, Hannah Abbot, Susan Bones, Ernie McMillan and Justin Flinch - Fletchly. From McGonagall and Madam Pomfrey's expression and from he uproar of Gryffindor some Slytherins had tried to join but for the opposite reason of everyone else. They were probably here, hopeful that she was indeed dead. She heard a lot of people telling Malfoy to shove off and she also heard the names of other Slytherins on the Slytherin team.
