"What happened?" Ember said, her mind fuzzy.
"What do you remember?" Lupin said pulling up a seat next to her bed.
"Um . . ." Ember said, trying to concentrate but her mind was a blank fuzz but a few things came to her. ". . .I remember . . . I was in . . . Gryffindor Common Room . . . I was talking to Ginny . . . but after that it gets a little . . . fuzzy."
Lupin cleared his throat.
"Well . . . Ember . . ." Lupin said, trying to find the right words.
"Copper." Ember suddenly said, more memories coming back.
"I'm sorry?" Lupin said, completely bewildered.
"I tasted copper. It felt like I was going to be sick. It was all happening so fast. I -" Ember said and then her eyes widened. "I threw up blood. Everyone was screaming and yelling, then I think I must have blacked out."
Ember, with extreme effort, turned her head to look at Lupin. "Did that really happen?"
Lupin nodded with a grave expression.
"They all most be freaking out right now." Ember groaned, feeling guilty. "Professor, what are you doing at Hogwarts?"
Lupin's grave expression intensified. "Ember, you're in Saint Mungo's."
"I'm what?" Ember yelped.
Lupin grabbed her hand. "Ember, you've been in a coma for nearly two months."
"T - T - Two months!" Ember repeated, appalled.
"Easy, Ember. It's alright. Just breath." Lupin said.
"Two months? How can I have been in a coma for two months?" Ember said, her heart rate increasing.
"Ember, don't over work yourself." Lupin said gently.
More memories were flooding back but not images. Words.
"How is she?" Someone asked, that sounded like Fred.
"No change. It looks like she's sleeping, but I can't wake her up." Said a voice that Ember knew was George's instantly. His voice sounded so numb.
"She'll wake up. When she's ready." Fred promised.
Ember remembered Harry telling her about Umbridge's reaction to the Quibbler. How she had banned and it was making students turn out their bags and pockets but the students were several steps ahead of her and they had disguised it.
"I wish you could see how Umbridge is acting. You above anyone deserve to see it." Harry said.
Ember remembered Ginny telling her about a bunch if random things.
