You all decide to move into the conference room and gather around the table. Ikaris is on one end of the table and you're next to him. On your right there's Sam, Bucky and Wanda. Across from you there's Sprite, Sersi, Peter and Rhodey and Bruce is on the other end of the table.

"What were you doing in New York?" Sam asks Sersi and Sprite, directly cutting to the chase. It's not exactly an interrogation, but there's not exactly a trust between the two groups.

"There's a historical convention at Columbia this week. I was asked to speak on fossils found in Mesopotamia," Sersi explains, "Sprite and I live together."

"Helps to speak on history if you've lived through it," Sprite says.

"You lived in Mesopotamia?" Peter asks.

"Aye." Ikaris confirms.

"When did you come to Earth?" You ask.

"We came around five thousand BC," Sersi answers smoothly.

"What was that alien?" Bucky asks, pulling a knife out and fiddling with it boredly.

"You called it a deviant," you point out.

"It was a deviant," Ikaris confirms.

"Which is?" Sam asks and before you know it there's a golden projection above you over the table and you see Sprite waving her hands around.

"Deviants can be anything really," Sprite states and a swish of gold shows a seemingly human figure going from a fetal position to standing. The person arches its back and pushes out and suddenly there's a larger, taller person in front of it.

"They were sent here eons ago to keep a balance on Earth for when humans arose," Sersi takes over narrating as Sprite brings her hands together to clap and an army formation of a thousand figures glimmers above you.

"But," Ikaris goes on to explain as suddenly the formation disperses and you're left looking at 5 raggeded bodies that don't quite seem human, "they mutated and it led to genetic deficiencies."

"They couldn't be controlled, and no deviant was alike," Ikaris continues as the bodies begin to conform, some growing in height and others shrinking down.

"It was a failed experiment on the part of Celestials," Sprite says and suddenly you're looking at a grassy field with creatures running towards a group of nomads.

"That's where we come in," Sersi states and suddenly a marble looking ship appears at the edge of the cliff the nomads were camping, and a beam of light comes out of the bottom of the ship.

Eleven different figures are beamed down in front of the people, directly blocking them from the deviants. Two of the figures start to fly towards the deviants head on. The illusion pauses.

"We were created with more advanced technology without the ability to evolve like the Deviants," Sprite says and curls her fingers into a fist, causing the fight scene to turn into sparkles that drop onto the table like confetti.

"We were sent here to eliminate them and therefore give humans the chance to grow on their own," Ikaris states.

"How many of you are there?" Sam asks.

"There's eleven of us," Sersi answers him.

"Seemingly, the deviants were all defeated around 500 years ago," Sersi says, "that is until the morning."

"We also assumed you were dead, Y/N," Sprite says, "but we know that's not true now."

"How are you even sure I'm the same person?" You ask the trio.
