3 years later...
"HEY RENJUN WAKE UP!" a female voice wake the said male up from his deep slumber
Renjun groan with the noise coming from the loud sound produced by the person who disturb his rest "Ningning shut your mouth up!" the male said with an annoyed tone
"Papa told me to wake you up and by the way, you look like a squid wrapped in a blanket HAHAHAAHAHA!" ningning said walking away laughing her heart out
"That kid can't be quiet in a day!" renjun mumbled while shaking his head in disbelief and get up from his bed.
It's been 3 years since renjun move to korea and the adjustment that he have to come through is not easy because of the depression and trauma he experience when his lover passed away.
His parents witness his break downs, panic attacks, and the way his trauma affected him. It is painful for them as parents to see their son act that way, from being bubbly and cheerful person renjun is he became more quiet and smile less every single day.
That is why his parents decided to let him move in another country to make his moving forward stage easier to manage since nothing in korea will be reminded him of meihui's memory.
When he move to korea, he resided to their family house owned by his grandparents and it was caretaken by a family. At first the family was ready to leave the house but he offer them to just stay with him as long as they want and for him to have a companion as well because being alone makes him lonelier and it will be reminded him of his lover.
"You're awake?" doyoung ask him while cooking the breakfast in the kitchen
"Yeah ningning voice is so loud, it hurts my ears." renjun chukled while stucking out his tounge looking at the said female.
Ningning just rolled her eyes at the older chinese males remark.
"Stop bickering you two, for goodness sake it's early in the morning." jaehyun came out from nowhere clicking his tounge annoyingly
"Let them bicker jaehyun, you secretly miss them when they are not at home." doyoung said dissing at his husband's attitude
Jaehyun smiles then hugs doyoung from behind making the two chinese fake gag at their sweetness.
"Gosh it's early in the morning and the ants will eventually come at us." ningning sassily remarked at her parents
If you are wondering why ningning is their daughter, no it is not because of mpreg. Doyoung and Jaehyun decided to adopt her when she was a baby after they got married and they started to live at renjun's grandparents family house when ningning was just seven because renjun's grandparents is close with them so they offer the family live there since no one is staying.
Renjun and ningning became bestfriends when renjun came to korea and reside at their family house where the family lives there.
They started to eat and tell stories about what happened to them in a day, this has always been renjun's everyday routine for three years.
Of course there are still times where he will remember his meihui but being with the family makes everyday life more bearable for him.
"Do you think I am heavy baggage to you?" renjun asked the couple out of nowhere
The couple furrowed their brows because of the chinese male question to them "Why would you think of that renjun? You have became our son after you move here." doyoung stated in a motherly tone
"And besides if someone is heavy baggage here, it is us." jaehyun stated in a sad tone
Renjun widen his eyes on jaehyun's statement, the former wave his hands in disagreement because it is clearly not true. "Jaehyun hyung no you're not, the truth is for the past three years you three have been my heroes. You make it easier for me to live my life eversince that tragedy happens."
The couple have soften expression because of what renjun have told them while the chinese female cleared her throat because of the drama being created by her parents and the other chinese.
"You're so cheesy." she said with a scoff
Renjun just laughed for what his bestfriend have said.
This family has became his safe place in everything.
To be continue...
