Chapter 47: Burnt Cheesecake

Renjun is currently eating breakfast with his parents and the family, he looks more alive since he got home yesterday because of the great thing that happened at the hospital.

"Thank goodness you're eating now..." doyoung said with relief evident on his face

"We're super worried about you because you almost wanted to starve yourself!" ningning added

Jaehyun clicked his tounge first before speaking "And since donghyuck have already waken up, he would definitely scold you when he learned about what you are doing to yourself!"

The chinese male smiled with a proud expression "Psh! He won't, why would he scold me if he didn't knew..." he said before munching his food again

His parents shake their heads on how confident their son can get about not getting scolded by his boyfriend.

"Just how confident you can get?" mrs. huang ask with a judging face

"They won't, and besides it will stress the shit out of my prince so definitely not." he confidently stated

"Goodluck." mr. huang said chuckling

Renjun is at a newly opened dessert shop near his house standing in front of the dessert cabinet contemplating on what he would buy for the tanned male.

He puts his hand on his chin humming some random songs while staring at the scrumptious desserts displayed on the cabinets and racks.

"Should I buy the burnt cheesecake or the chocolate lava cake for him? They both look yummy..." he questioned himself pouting

"You want to try them young man?"

Renjun flinch from where he is standing when he heard a female voice ask him, he look at the woman who is tilting her head while smiling at him creepily.

"Sorry if I scare you, i'm asking if you want to try them since you look conflicted about choosing what you would buy for your special someone and don't worry it's for free since we just opened this shop yesterday." she said with a straight face smiled

He take a look at the woman skeptically and she raised both of her eyebrows with a 'what?' expression

The chinese male gulp first before he decided to point out the burnt basque cheesecake and the chocolate lava cake placed in the middle of the dessert cabinet.

"Burnt basque cheesecake and the choco lava cake, okay wait for it."

Renjun took seat first at one of the table in the shop and roam his eyes around it, the shop has a brown theme aesthetic with some minimalist paintings that matches the wall color and hanging plants decorated around the corners, and a fairy lights placed behind the counter which gives the place a cozy and warm environment.

"I should invite him here at sometime." the chinese male mutter nodding

His almost jumped in his seat when the woman put the desserts on the table harshly.

"Here, try them..." she said before walking away

"She's so weird."

Renjun put the burnt cheesecake in his mouth first then smiled because it tastes sweet but not too sweet and a hint of tanginess on it with the combination of the nutty crust from the burnt sides.

"Hyuckie will like this one..."

He then poke the chocolate lava cake with the spoon and smiled as the chocolate center ooze out of the cake.
