Chapter 1: Crowd's Prince

Party lights, sound of loud music, sweaty bodies, laughter, fun.

That is what Renjun could see upon his iris while being wasted on the glass of alcohol he is gulping at the moment.

Sitting down in the corner of the crowded bar, getting wasted were his ways to temporarily forget about the pain that is currently eating him like a monster devouring his prey in his system.

Watching people lost their sanity while dancing like there is no tomorrow leave a bitter smile on renjun's lips while reminiscing the moments he and meihui shared together.

Those touches, kisses, hugs, laughter, small fights, and the years being with meihui was the best years of renjun's life but those happiest events became the most painful memory he could have ever imagine having in this lifetime.

~flashback~

"Jun I am going to hang-out with my friends this coming weekend! Can I come please? Its been a while since I bond with them." meihui excitedly inform renjun about her upcoming activity with her friends.

Renjun puoted because he wanted to invite meihui on a dinner since he wanted to surprise her but then his other-half just have to tell him about the trip she had on the day he would ask her for dinner.

Don't get him wrong, he is not the kind of boyfriend who is selfish and possesive that he wanted her to stay at home and be with him for the whole day as a matter of fact he wanted his girl to have her decision since it is her own life and he is there to support and cheer her up for whatever she wish to do for her to grow.

It's just that he wanted to have time with her since it is the only day the both of them were free but then again, it has been a while since she go out with her friends and bond with them so he just sigh and nod as a sign that he agreed with it.

"Oh my gosh jun, thank you so much! I love you." she said while encaging him in a warm hug.

Renjun sighs in contentment and kiss her the top of her head, "I love you too, just be safe and come home alive!" he reminded her and break the hug they are having.

She laughed at renjun because of his thinking and nod "Why would you think that I would die? It's not like were reckless on driving or something and don't worry, I will call you when I get there and inform you when I will get home okay?" meihui said in reassuring tone

"I'm not paranoid, I am just worried you know, I don't know what would happen since its been a while since you go to other places!" renjun utter in an almost whining sound.

His lover just laugh at him while typing in her phone..

It is late at night and renjun just can't sleep because he is waiting for his lover to come home, he is starting to panic since it is late at night and she had no text indicating that she is fine.

Until he heard his phone ring and jumped out of his bed when he saw meihui's contact name in his screen.

"Mei where have you been? You didn't call or text that you would come home now!" renjun said panicking
