Chapter 5: Protect

After his encounter with the beautiful boy, he was bombarded with questions from his friends.

"So he is the pretty boy you met in a bar in china three years ago and the same boy who makes you stay up all night?" Yeji asked him in a teasing manner "Wow he's super pretty!"

"I don't know you will find a guy with face like that, gosh he looks like a whole damn meal my man!" Donghyuck is about to hit jeno but the latter quickly use his forearms to defend himself from the furious looking tanned male "I'm just kidding gosh! why y'all take it seriously?" he look at yeji to ask for help only to earn a disgusted look from the said female.

"From the outside you look like an innocent puppy who gives a bright eye-smile to everyone only to know you have that perverted mind of yours who thinks every pretty people could be fuckable. looks can be decieving aren't they?" yeji shook her head in disbelief

The tanned male just roll his eyes at the other male "I hope you'll find your match soon my man." he pull jeno close to him then whisper something in his ear, "where you have plead and bend on your knees first before getting whatever you desire." jeno froze in his feet as he heard the snide remark from his bestfriend

Donghyuck then pull himself away from the flustered male then looked at him and lifted his pair of eyebrows while mouthing 'what?', he then look at yeji with cunning smile who looks satisfied by how the way their poor bestfriend looks.

He then tap the shoulder of the samoyed looking boy who is still frozen from where he is standing.

"Where are you going?" yeji almost shouted her question

Donghyuck turn around to spare the fox-like female a glance "Home, gotta think about something." Or someone

"Hey wait for me, i'm going home too mom's looking for me!" then she started walking toward the tanned male who waits for her leaving their poor bestfriend who is still in shock.

Upon donghyuck's arrival in his home, he immediately change into his comfortable home clothes then make sandwich toast for himself.

It's been three days since he ran into the beautiful boy, he still remember that night when he first laid his eyes on the delicate looking boy.

"So he's just here?" he smiled at the though of seeing him again.

At first he thought that the figure he saw in the supermarket were just a mere hallucination but to his surprise it is the same boy whom he met three years ago.

And the same scenario happened when he saw him the plushie store.

~flashback~

"Hey guys can we go in there?" Mark pointed out the plushie store he saw while taking a walk

"Sure! Oh my gosh the toothless and light fury plushies are so cute, I wanna buy them!" yeji excitedly exclaim

"You wanna buy your family?" jeno teased that earn a hard glare from the female

"Why don't you buy that samoyed plushie since you look like them as well!" yeji hiss at the eye-smile male who still laughs like a huffing dog

"Stop that you two!" donghyuck said ready to scold them

As they enter the store, the group of friends can't stop laughing because the jokes the candian male telling them.

Donghyuck furrowed his brows when he saw a familiar figure in the counter.

"That's impossible." he mentally scolded himself

But the tanned male immediately froze from his position as he catch a glimpse of the boy's side profile

His heart starts to beat faster than its normal rate as he gets to see the full view of tiny figure

"It's the beautiful boy!" he said to himself

The two males were now having a staring contest and donghyuck had the urge to approach the boy but his feet won't let him.

"Hey donghyuck are you okay?" mark asked when he saw their friend in daze

The three of them look at the direction where the tanned male is looking and saw that he is having a staring contest with another male.

Jeno and yeji on the other hand furrowed their foreheads as they saw the girl they help in the supermarket a while ago with the boy she was with.

"Are they soulmates or something?" mark asked only to get a shrugged from the two

The tanned male is still having a staring contest with the other male when he saw the girl he was with whisper something to the boy that makes the other male broke their gaze and storm out of the shop immediately.

He saw the girl quickly follow the boy she is with but she looked at the three of his friends before storming out as well.

"He ran away again." he sigh before facing his friends who had their brows furrowed

"What does that supposed to mean?" mark question because he clearly have no idea what is happening

~end of flashback~

"Tss, do i look like a ghost?" he question himself moving his lips to the side.

I didn't get his name again

He just wants to be friends with him.

Well let's just say there is something he felt about him that night when they looked at each other, his eyes holds emotions of sorrow and vulnerability that gives the tanned male the urge to hold the boy in his arms and protect him from the harm this world can give.
