Chapter 9: He's So Adorable

Renjun was relieved because it has been a week since the man who look like a seagull according to ningning didn't came back at the convenient store he is working.

Usually renjun's shift is from seven o'clock in the morning up until three o'clock in the afternoon but here he is working for the four o'clock in the afternoon to twelve o'clock in the midnight shift because yuqi ask him to swap schedules because she needs take care of an emergency in the afternoon.

Right now renjun is sitting on the counter watching random videos on youtube when someone burst into the door.

He was about to greet the costumer who enter the door but he felt his body get stiff when he figured out who enter the door who look surprised as well.

"Are you going to runaway from me again renjun?" the costumer smile at him and the said male gasps when he heard the man call his name

"That seagull guy definitely told him" renjun is still stiff from his position and he is looking anywhere but the guy in front of him

The guy offer his hand to the delicate looking boy "I'm donghyuck." but renjun just stare at his hand

Donghyuck withdraw his hand then chuckle at the stunned male "I guess there were two favorite things you love to do, runaway and stare hihi."
The tanned male decided to roam around the store considering he is already there so why not look for food to eat, meanwhile the chinese male is still in awe as how a guy like him would be very interested in someone he barely know.

Renjun didn't realize that donghyuck had already put the food items on the counter "Are you okay renjun?"

Donghyuck look at him with full of adoration that makes the chinese feel something strange in his stomach, he quickly ignore the emotion lingering in his body as he look at the former sternly.

"That would be 4.99$." he announce giving the items donghyuck bought

The tanned male took the ice cream from the plastic bag and offer it to the boy who looks at him skeptically "That's for you." donghyuck give him a smile and nod to reassure renjun that it is really for him.

The latter hesitantly accept the food given by donghyuck but he manages to nod his head as a sign of giving thanks to the tanned male.

Donghyuck is currently settled at the table inside the store and munching on the noodles he bought a while ago.

On the other hand, renjun is now eating the ice cream and occasionally taking a glance on him but quickly turn his attention to the food when donghyuck is turning his head into his direction who automatically smiles at the adorable action shown by the male.

The tanned male was scrolling through his phone when he saw renjun is already heading out of the store, he immediately stands up and check his things before quickly following the small figure, "Hey renjun where are you going?" he ask whild catching up on the boy

Renjun turn his head into the tanned male's direction then quickly diverted his attention on the road, "why would i tell you?" he answered still focuses on the road

Donghyuck pretended to think by holding his chin and looking up, "because were friends?" he smirk when renjun turn into him with furrowed eyebrows

"Were not friends." the chinese male refute

Donghyuck chuckled on the way renjun answered at his statement, the former still can't believe that he is now having a casual conversation with the person who makes him stay up all night.

"Why are you here by the way?" renjun ask facing donghyuck quickly before diverting his attention to the road again, "are you a stalker?" he added

Donghyuck widened his eyes with the question, "wait what? no i'm not!" he said defending himself "I am actually surprise to see you there at this time, I thought you were working in the morning." the tanned male said looking on his feet

Renjun's intuition was right, the seagull looking friend of donghyuck tell him about where he is working. The chinese male stop his tracks when he see a bench seat in the middle of the park and decided to take a seat in there for a while, the latter quickly followed him and immediately settle himself beside the pretty boy.

The two figures are now in the middle of the dark path illuminated by the moon, the stars and city lights letting themselves engulf in a deafening silence.

Renjun is looking up to the sky didn't realize the pair of eyes looking at him like he is the most precious thing a person could have "you're so beautiful." the said male gave him a flabbergasted look that's when donghyuck figured out what he said

"Damn it donghyuck! Why do you have to think out loud?" the tanned male mentally scolded himself

"D-Do I?" renjun ask feeling his throat get dry

Donghyuck give the chinese male a sweet grin then tuck its hair behind his ear.

"Yeah.." the tanned male said dreamily while caressing renjun's cheeks

As renjun looks at donghyuck, he can almost see a thousands of emotions conveyed by those pretty eyes and the tenderness from his touch makes him wonder how is it like to be in the man's arms.

He was taken aback by the his thoughts and remove donghyuck's hand on his face "I need to go home now." renjun abruptly stand up from his seat then started to walk away from the tanned male

"Okay see you tomorrow!" donghyuck shouted smiling at the figure who had his back face at him

Renjun turn into donghyuck direction again and roll his eyes, "no, i'm not going to see you again!" then turn his back again and started to walk more quickly this time

The tanned male chuckled at the others action then starts to walk to another path "He's so adorable!" he grins widely while indulging in the cool breeze.

Looking forward to spend time with you again
