Chapter 14

Taehyun was upset. He never wanted Beomgyu to go home alone. He knew how stubborn the boy is and no matter how he tries to convince him to grab a taxi or ride a bus the boy won't listen to him.

Beomgyu had a lot of excuses such as losing some calories when the boy was as light as feather to Taehyun or he needs to save. Taehyun guaranteed him that he'll never have worry about his expenses but Beomgyu was stubborn as a mule.

He was informed last night before going off of work that a new rising brand was reaching to his company. Who was Taehyun to let another opportunity slip out again? He scheduled a meeting right away the other day.

Despite the other house was busy, they couldn't decline Taehyun's immediate response when they were the first to approach.

It was past lunch when the meeting started. Soobin and Kai were with him together with other board of directors to discuss the terms. It went well and Taehyun was happy that after a loss, they were able to again something that could be way better than what's in the past.

The signing of the contract didn't happen right then but they were certain that a couple days after today, it will be a closed deal. Taehyun couldn't wait to treat Beomgyu to a nice dinner tonight. He was gladder when the meeting ended earlier than they expected because that means he can surprised the beautiful boy.

Taehyun was all smiley shaking hands with the board of directors. They were supposed to send them off when the CEO tapped his attention.

"Mr. Kang, are you perhaps busy right after this?" The aged man asked politely.

"I have time, Mr. Park." Taehyun beamed respectfully.

"Great. I might have a small favor to ask." The CEO continued as they approach the company's lobby.

"You see, my daughter is really fond of you. Could you spare a moment? I would like to introduce her to you." The older asked kindly.

"Sure Mr. Park. I see no problem with that. Should we proceed right now?" The younger asked despite feeling a bit sadden. His plan with Beomgyu might be rescheduled. I miss him though, Taehyun thought.

"It's too early young man. I'll text you later the location. Maybe we can grab dinner. How does that sound?" The older once again asked and Taehyun was beyond any doubt sure that it'll be a long night.

"That sounds great, Mr. Park." Taehyun replied still with a bright grin.

"It's settled then. My daughter is nice Taehyun, you'll get along well." The older added before finally saying his farewell.

Taehyun chuckled hearing that before he goes back to his office. Soobin and Kai were waiting for him there. So, when the door swung open. Kai's cheering surprised Taehyun making him chuckled as well.

"Congrats Taehyunie!" Soobin started. Taehyun just gave him a nod as he scrambles to look for his phone as if he was expecting a message from Beomgyu.

"Thanks guys." He replied still eyeing his phone before slumping on his office chair letting out a groan.

"What's your problem now?" Kai asked, crossing his legs.

"Mr. Park asked me to have dinner with his daughter." He answered, massaging his temples as if it was stressing him too much.

"Oww— oww, I see where this is going. So, why do you sound like you're not interested at all? Dude, his daughter is smoking hot." Kai replied whistling a blow, teasing Taehyun with his amusing tone.

"I don't hear you sleeping with someone these days Taehyun." Soobin added grabbing Taehyun's attention to him.

"Do I really look like a sex maniac to you hyung? I'm quite offended." Taehyun scoffed, glaring at the surprised older.
