Chapter 19

Fourth day of Beomgyu's disappearance and Taehyun was already devastated. He barely goes home to rest and he had been ignoring his health for straight four days. Soobin and Kai were worried to death. It affected the workplace since Taehyun grumpiness won't even left him for a second.

"Why can't you understand I.. Don't.. Like.. It. If that proposal isn't finish 'til this four you're fired." He said throwing the papers, making his employees trembled.

"Y-yes Mr. K-kang." The poor lady replied, her hands were shaking as she gathered the papers in a flash and left the room holding up her tears.

Taehyun closed his eyes, trying to calm down. Nothing pleases him anymore. Everyone is annoying to him. Even his work is pissing him off when he was always passionate about it. It was different because he was eager to finish the day so he could cuddle with Beomgyu. Tell him about his ideas, his plans for the company and he loves it when Beomgyu corrects him or voice out his concern. He misses it so much, he misses Beomgyu so much and it's making him insane.

He really needed to see Beomgyu. A minute is enough for his sanity. He just wanted to know how the boy was doing, how the boy was coping up and if the boy was safe. He'll eventually draw a plan later when he finds him. Later, later, later, if you aren't stupid enough Taehyun you and him could've been happily eating lunch right now. Taehyun once again blamed himself.

"Taehyunie, you look shit.." Kai blurted out the moment he enters the door.

"I feel shit." Taehyun mumbled out inaudibly and Kai let out a sigh feeling sympathetic.

"Taehyun, I know that Beomgyu is— he's important to you but please could you not bring this at work. Where is the professional Taehyun I knew?" Kai asked, his voice wasn't scolding nor mocking but it sounded tired.

Kai is a pure angel and he doesn't like it when Taehyun is being too harsh at his employees. They are human too and they could've been experiencing something like Taehyun or maybe way worst than it.

"He's dead. Kai please I'm not in the mood. Could you please give me a space?" Taehyun replied with his brows furrowed. Kai knew that the boy was struggling so much but they can't act properly when Taehyun always shuts them up.

"I'm very much offended. Taehyun I'm your best friend. You know you can share anything and not locked yourself alone in here. Soobin hyung and I are really worried." Kai replied taking a step closer to Taehyun who was massaging his temples. This is giving him a headache.

"I want Beomgyu. Can't you guys understand it? I appreciate both of you tryna' make me feel better but Kai, Beomgyu is what I need and nothing else." Taehyun ranted out followed by a problematic sigh.

"But his gone Taehyunie!" Kai shouted in frustration. He had enough of Taehyun being this lovesick for four days. He is worried and he cared for Taehyun a lot so it frustrates him to see his best friend looking this broken.

"I fucking know that!" Taehyun shouted back in anger. He doesn't need to remind me that I just lost my beautiful Beomgyu. I know that, I fucking know it's my fault.

"Then why are so worked up. You lived without Beomgyu for decades then why not act like it now!?" The two were raising their voices and Taehyun glad that his office was far away from his employees or another issue will spread again.

"Shut the fuck up Kai. You don't know anything!" Taehyun roared in anger standing abruptly as his eyes turned red, glaring Kai making the younger shudder in horror.

"Will you two shut up!?" Soobin's voice echoed the room and the two looked away from each other.

"Kai, you are not in the position to invalidate what Taehyun felt about the boy. So lock that jaw of yours if you're just here to boss Taehyun about his feelings. And you..." Soobin paused for a minute pointing a finger to Taehyun letting out an airy sigh.
