What really matters in life? You probably would list down friendship, memories, time or maybe even experiences, it's true but to Beomgyu and Taehyun, it is their relationship. Looking back couple of months ago, who was Taehyun? He was that cold, reserved dude you won't imagine bumping into and hoping to have a fun chat but when he met a lone boy with long hair and pieces of lighter color than his base, it definitely was a plot twist. Beomgyu was the bombshell Taehyun didn't look forward to but anticipated.
He was a distraction that Taehyun chooses to be distracted with, preoccupied with and Beomgyu? He was the total opposite Taehyun just needed. He wasn't cold but was reserved yet also very transparent. It was the transparency meant for a chosen people such as Taehyun and it made them click. They were two souls in need a lot of understanding, two souls meant to badly be tangled 'til forever exist and for forever to start, they had to prove to whoever made the definition of it that it was deserving for them, that forever starts today.
"I'm dying of nervousness. You think they will be angry?" Beomgyu asked as soon as they step put on IcheonInternationalAirport.
"They won't be beautiful. You're gonna be fine. You have me, 'kay?" Taehyun assured planting a kiss on his lover's forehead.
"You look relaxed than me." Beomgyu pouted and Taehyun had to let out a chuckle at the comment. He wasn't hundred percent calm. Heck, he was having a lot of internal turmoil but he doesn't want Beomgyu to worry too much when he had to fight his own battles inside. The best thing he could offer was to try to be chill for his boyfriend.
"I'm confident they would approve me for you." Taehyun smirked, to cheer him up and not the latter.
"Confident are we, Mr.Kang?" Beomgyu raised a brow teasingly to which Taehyun find extremely hot. They were waiting for their luggage enfolding each other's hands.
"Indeed. Future Mr. Kang." Taehyun replied fixing a strand of Beomgyu's hair, tucking it behind his ear grinning when Beomgyu's ears turned extremely red.
"You can't just say things like that aloud. You're going to made me flushed the whole day. It's going to be really embarrassing in front of everyone." Beomgyu replied burying his face on the younger's neck, hiding the flushed state.
"But I love seeing your cheeks tinted like that." He continued to tease to which Beomgyu find annoyingly cute. He loves it when Taehyun say things like that. It made his heart flipped in merriment and contentment.
Taehyun scheduled a two weeks vacation the moment Beomgyu was released from the hospital. They had to face his parents first, Beomgyu's utmost request and just like expected; it didn't turn out well. His mom walked out in the middle of their conversation but his dad remained surprisingly rational. They haven't announced their blessing but it was enough to Taehyun that they didn't asked him to break up with Beomgyu again because it'll be useless.
Or course, Beomgyu cried the whole afternoon after that but Taehyun secured him that one day they will come to their senses and regret everything they did. It isn't an easy progress, Beomgyu understand that maybe they haven't accepted yet that their son is a grown up man wanting to decide on his own. It was insecurities, disappointment and maybe a hint of jealousy. Beomgyu believed that soon, they will be able to establish a relationship and he'll just have to be patient.
As soon as the couple walked out of the airport, they were greeted by cars that Beomgyu was very familiar of. It was his father's. It made him smile because God, he missed Seoul. He misses his family so much, the air in here and the familiar faces and with Taehyun by his side, he was home.
"Your family wishes to see you as soon as possible young sir." A voice interrupted Beomgyu's remission making him gasp in surprise seeing his driver way back when he was still studying.
