Chapter 25

Taehyun was exhilarated when he went to visit his work. He was supposed to take another day off but well, he will, he really had to just drop to get something from his office. He texted Beomgyu the moment he step inside his car, the raven haired replied immediately that Taehyun had to stop his urges to call him and talk all day.

As soon as the door of his office swung opened, it revealed both Kai and Soobin who was tryna' sort a lot of papers. It was still very early but they looked like it was already five in the afternoon; making Taehyun realized how he bothered his two best friend so much.

"Morning guys." Taehyun greeted as he stride to check what made them so busy about.

"Uhh, morning?" Kai replied questionably, both guys were curious as to why the blonde seems like he's in the mood.

"Did something happen?" Soobin asked raising a brow when he notices Taehyun's sparkling eyes.

"Nothing, It's just a great morning. I'm here to get something hyung. I'll be back tomorrow." Taehyun replied getting a small box on his drawer, biting his lower lip when he received another reply from Beomgyu.

"Okay, Taehyunie you're scaring me so much. Spill." Kai blurted out dramatically and Taehyun gave him a quick glare before looking up to his phone again.

"I gotta go. I'm gonna be busy today. Don't call me." He said as he put the box on his pocket and was ready to leave when Kai widens his arms, halting Taehyun's steps.

"I smell something fishy here." Kai said leaning to sniff Taehyun; the blondie pushing him off instantly.

"Stop being weird." Taehyun replied. He pushed Kai out of the way and then walked pass the door leaving the two with curiosity and suspicious growing in their system.

"Do you think Beomgyu hyung had already forgiven him?" Kai mumbled out spacing out, he wasn't aware that he said it aloud.

"I hope so." Soobin replied making Kai widen his eyes in surprised.

"Did I said that out loud?" He asked dumbly, Soobin stared at him with that 'wtf' face.

"Obviously?" He replied. Kai's expression changed an instant hearing his Soobin hyung. The two then started bickering as they continue the work they were supposed to finish before the day ends.

As for Beomgyu, the guy was quietly waiting for Yeonjun's instructions. He sat there waiting for the older to talk to him like the usual but almost thirty minutes have passed but Yeonjun was still composing himself.

He saw everything. From how Beomgyu dragged Taehyun somewhere to going back with Taehyun kissing his forehead. It wasn't his intention to but the universe were just so cruel to let him see all of those when he's still fighting to bury his feelings for the younger.

He wanted to stop all of these. He really did, but he cannot easily take this away from him in a split second. Not when Beomgyu was being too kind and understanding to him. Not when Beomgyu is just so irresistible.

Like right now, the younger was dribbling something on the piece of paper he saw as he pursued his lips in a pout. Yeonjun couldn't grasp if it is because he was so concentrated or he is doing in on purpose so touched his heart. Nevertheless, it was working well.

He couldn't help but glance at those plump cherries. All possible scenarios integrating with it flashed on his mind like a bucket list. God, he wanted to taste those lips so bad.

But Yeonjun isn't stupid enough to do it and then later on pretend like it didn't happen. He wanted to take his and Beomgyu's relationship to another level. Dear Jesus, he wanted so bad. He imagined how Beomgyu fit perfectly on the missing puzzle he was looking for but he knows he doesn't stand a chance right now.
