The next morning, a news spread like a wildfire on the internet. It was a photo of Yeonjun being carried on the emergency. It was captured by a netizen clarifying if it's really the Choi Yeonjun of Run up and that's how it all started.
When Taehyun left everyone last night, Yeonjun was immediately rushed to the hospital especially that he was unconscious. Everyone was panicking and didn't know what the whole story so they eded up putting all the blame to none other than, Kang Taehyun.
Nobody else knew what the older did to receive such beating. Nobody even dared to look for Beomgyu's whereabouts. They all assumed that Taehyun invaded their privacy, beat Yeonjun and then took Beomgyu away. They weren't willing to even hear Taehyun's side and trended an appeal to pay for what he did to Yeonjun. They were all scheming for justice that Yeonjun doesn't deserve at all.
Meanwhile, Taehyun and his boyfriend just finished breakfast without knowing what was happening around them. As Taehyun were about to drive to his work tagging along his boyfriend who he didn't want to leave. They were too early yet the moment Taehyun took a glance on his company, reporters had already blocked the entrance that made Taehyun worry. He took a stop nearby observing when he received a call from one his other three, Kai.
"Taehyun! Omayghad, do not come here at work. We were all block by numerous of reporters t—what the fuck happened? What is the issue going around the internet!?" Kai questioned, his voice was louder than usual that Beomgyu even had to hear it causing the older to get worried.
"What are you talking about? What issue?" He replied back a question, Taehyun's brows scrunch in confusion although he already had a hunch on what the boy was talking about.
Beomgyu on the other hand immediately took out his phone and opened any social media to confirm what was Kai blabbing about. He let out the loudest gasp when he sees a headline with Yeonjun photo on it, involving Taehyun's name. Beomgyu eyed him eyes watering, full of worries.
Taehyun snatched his phone away and read everything. He had seen this shit coming. They probably even paid someone to release such lies just to end Taehyun's career and maybe their relationship but boy, Taehyun didn't came to slack. He already had a plan the moment they step out of that darn resort. He turn Beomgyu's phone and took a hold of his boyfriend's hand, who started shedding tears already from fear.
Taehyun gave him a quick kiss, caressing his left cheek and gave out a reassuring smile. Beomgyu rested his hand on top of his, tightening the hold.
"Kai, we're at a nearby street. Send someone to pick up us here and called everyone including our partners for an emergency meeting." Taehyun replied, he mouthed Beomgyu an 'it's okay' word kissing his knuckles.
"We? Are you with someone?" Kai questioned.
"Beomgyu's with me. I'll explain everything later in the meantime, make sure to ring everyone a message. We have to let everyone know before they release a statement." Taehyun replied and despite being utterly confused, Kai mumbled a quick okay before ending the call.
"Taehyun, what are we gonna do? I—I'm so sorry for d—"
"Shh, stop apologizing. Choi Beomgyu listen to me! This is not your fault. Yeonjun is going to be the one paying and not me. Don't worry beautiful, I got everything under control." Taehyun said, unbuckling his seatbelt so he could reach and hug his shaking boyfriend.
The long haired has been going through a lot these past few days and Taehyun is scared that Beomgyu might decide to give up. He's scared that Beomgyu will blame himself for everything that he doesn't have control with. Yes, he admire his boyfriend for being the strongest person he knew but everyone has limits. Beomgyu gets tired like everyone does and he wanted to be there giving him energy, giving him reasons, comforting him with love and taking half of his burden because the moment he saw the older, he oath to spend the rest of his remaining days devoting him forever.
