Beomgyu doesn't have a particular place in mind when he rode the bus. It wasn't even clear what the sign says, he just got up when it stopped. He wasn't crying anymore but he doesn't feel anything at all.
He was a walking dead, Lifeless. He wanted to run away again like what he did at home. He wanted to left the country and get lost but his mind says otherwise. Taehyun, Taehyun, Taehyun, Kang Taehyun was all over him.
Beomgyu had the urge to run back and wait and let the kisses get him fooled again but he was tired of running. He was tired of waiting. He pitied himself too much when he shouldn't be. How could Taehyun use me just for fun?
Was I really that easy? Was I really that foolish? Or was I that worthless? He doesn't know. He doesn't know how to trust anymore. He is scared, traumatized and once again broken.
How could Taehyun made me feel he was different from the people here? He sighed looking around the area he isn't familiar with. The last stop brought him to a beach and he didn't know that he needed this air so much until he was sitting alone with his luggage.
There wasn't a single person around. The place was serene and half of Beomgyu liked it but half of him was tired of being... abandoned. He was forsaken by his family and now the only person he trusted his whole existence was only making fun off him. Great, did I commit treason on my past life to experience this?
He chuckled dryly as he creates circles on the sand. He was hugging himself and anyone spots him would assume that he ran away, not pushed away.
The moving ridges on the surface of water were like a person's emotions, he thought metaphorically. It's something that swells and dies away in a millisecond but there's also a person similar to Beomgyu, like the sand that stays put, waited for the waves and got used to its character.
Beomgyu wanted to be free like the water. He wanted to be needed like the water but of course people would choose colored water over just a simple tasteless one. He was already water but never did he imagine he wanted more than being one.
Speaking of water, his tummy grumbled. He didn't eat anything after lunch and he had to go fiasco before Taehyun could saw a single strand of his hair. Beomgyu stood up and grabbed his luggage to find the nearest convenience store or anything that still sells food at this hour.
The neighborhood seems opposite to the environment he was used to back in the city but it isn't bad at all. Beomgyu now, considers finding a place to settle here plus it was near his comfort but he doesn't know what possible day job he could get. The only food supply he could spot was a small, cheap diner but Beomgyu doesn't mind because he can't afford to buy a tremendous meal anyways. There were only three people inside considering that it was already twelve in the evening.
As Beomgyu walked to find a seat after ordering, he was quite amuse of the interior of the place. It has this 80's vibes but modernized that made you experience what it feels like to grab a dinner during that era. He let out a sigh as he think of a place where he could stay for the night. He could afford to stay at a low-price inn only for a night and then he'll have to be homeless again in the morning.
"Enjoy the meal, young man." The lady uttered as he brought Beomgyu his late meal. Beomgyu gave him a small bow and the lady was about to turn around but Beomgyu cleared his throat for him to be recognized again.
"Excuse me, can I ask a question?" Beomgyu asked politely and the lady just gestured him to fire away.
"W-when would be the next bus to the city?" He asked a bit hesitant but the lady gave him a warm smile, full attention onto him.
