Chapter 22

The image of Taehyun in dismal haunted Beomgyu the whole night. As soon as he got into Yeonjun's car, the boy breakdown. He wept so hard that Yeonjun panicked a lot. Beomgyu never meant to let Taehyun wait for nothing. Oh dear heavens, he'd never let Taehyun wait but he had to guard his heart.

Taehyun's his greatest weakness. Yeonjun even had to stop him for running back. Beomgyu felt so upset that he'd willing to run back but Yeonjun insisted not to. Beomgyu looked like he was guilty for leaving the blonde and Yeonjun doesn't want to feed Taehyun's ego. The younger needs to learn that not all things are easy to get. Just because you had the wealth, beauty and charm, you'd always get what you what in life just by the mere on pointing it.

Don't get him wrong. He doesn't have any intention on getting Beomgyu more than a friend. Okay maybe a little but Yeonjun isn't dumb not to see how Beomgyu looked at Taehyun with eagerness despite what the blonde did to him and Taehyun, the mighty Kang Taehyun finally showed emotions.

Throughout the years of him running into Taehyun, it was the first time he saw the guy became vulnerable. It's always that dark, cold and mysterious aura Taehyun shows or the anger in his eyes. It was still mysterious to him how did the rivalry between the two of became serious.

He comforted Beomgyu 'til the long haired fell asleep. He listened to him, caresses his hair and murmurs healing messages so Beomgyu could fall asleep and it was effective. Beomgyu feel asleep with stained tears and hiccuping.

"Who could resist you?" Yeonjun said as he stared at the lovely boy sleeping. Beomgyu's beauty was captivating but behind his physical attributes was way better. Beomgyu is just so beautiful in and out.

"If only I'd met you first." He continued, lowering his face until his lips met Beomgyu's head. After that, he tucked in the boy properly before deciding to left the room before he'd do more things that'll made Beomgyu uncomfortable around him.

Yeonjun went to grab some light liquor before he went to take a fresh air at his terrace. He couldn't help but dwell on what happened earlier at the restroom. Beomgyu didn't saw how regretting Taehyun's eyes are and how the boy panicked when Beomgyu take his hand.

Why of all people must be Taehyun? He likes Beomgyu but he hadn't reach the point where he wants to lock him up like Taehyun did but he couldn't stop but wished that he'd run into Beomgyu first before Taehyun. It was rare to meet someone like the raven. He is sweet, too innocent that every little thing he'd discover would literally make him all jumpy, he's curious, he's understanding but what captures Yeonjun's attention is that Beomgyu is very strong minded. Beomgyu wouldn't probably share to him about how heavy he was carrying if he wasn't on the scene earlier.

Yeonjun took a sip on his alcohol realizing that maybe he liked Beomgyu more than a little. I mean, who wouldn't right? He licked his lower trying to ignore the voices in his mind to make a move. Beomgyu is still broken and he thinks he cannot make the guy into whole again, Kang Taehyun can but Yeonjun took an oath to never, never ever made the same mistakes Taehyun did.

He'd wait. He had been patiently searching for someone and when he finally found it, it just had to taken by the person he had least expected it. I'm sure Beomgyu will come running at me when he can't take it anymore and from then, I'll do what I can to help him.

He breathed out heavily before deciding to sleep it off, in hopes that tomorrow his mind will freshen up.

Morning came and Beomgyu woke up with a heavy headache. He couldn't remember what time did he find sleep but he remembers how his Yeonjun hyung comforted him. Beomgyu stand up because he had a photoshoot to attend today and he wouldn't want to be a bother just because he was broken hearted. Anyone could be broken hearted right now and might have felt worst than he had right now.
