Taehyun felt disturbed. He had been into a lot of conference with his parents but something about the upcoming event was making him feel bothersome.
"If you're one minute late. You know what happens." Taehyun's father spoke with authority that until now, still send shivers to the red haired man.
"Yes da–sir." Taehyun replied avoiding his glance no matter what. He is afraid. No actually, he was terrified.
Now before the old man could further stress more, the red haired rush to the door. Like he noticed earlier, there's something about Singapore. He couldn't really specify it but it's just really uneasy. The country isn't that special to him, I mean they'll be here for a day—well, maybe two but what the actual fuck is this feeling?
Taehyun asked himself frustrated. He doesn't even have an idea to which place he's going but he was incautious. He could just call their driver or ride a taxi later. From this time forward, he wanted to savor being alone. Wanting to get lost, to not pay attention to anyone or just be invisible to everyone for an hour or two. He couldn't be out longer than that or else he would have to face the petrifying punishment his father would give him. For fuck sake, I sounded like an eight year old.
Carry on with his shoes, he found a cafe. With his throat starting to get dry and the cold breeze as the winter season comes, he suddenly crave for a macchiato. The insides of the cafe isn't anything different from the usual cafe in Korea but the aroma of coffee was making it remarkable. There were only couple of people inside and he doesn't pay attention to any of them. He was instead drawn to the list of caffeine the place offer but he prefers his usual with a pint of honey.
Right after he got the his order, he situated himself on a table for one facing the outsides. With the cars passing by, the busy streets, the flickering traffic lights and the different emotions of the people passing by, Taehyun got lost on the blankness. He sat there, not wanting to think about the pressure his family gives, the decisions he wanted so bad to ran away, his reputation, all the shits in his life. He wanted to sleep it off all but how can he when he wasn't even aloud to? Sighing, Taehyun heard his name called by the counter.
So, with his other hand in his pocket. He slowly strolled to it but just when he was about to handle the receipt, another boy was already holding it.
"Hyung! Did you order macchiato?" The baritone boy asked, the view from Taehyun was only his back and his round head.
"No, you have my receipt. Maybe it was a mistake!" The other way deep voice replied.
"But it say 'KTH' on it. Who else wou—"
"Excuse me? I think you've mistaken my order with yours." Taehyun cease him up causing the boy to jolt in surprise. The tip of Taehyun's lips twerked up unexpectedly.
The boy in yellow cardigan then slowly turn around, gasping when he sees the red haired boy in mask.
"Oh my!" The boy yelp in surprise. His eyes were full of surprise but a different one. It was like he didn't expect to see Taehyun at all and it twinkling, sparkling in delight making Taehyun a bit flushed. A gorgeous boy was staring at him with pure adoration and yeah, Taehyun might have a sudden acute onset on him.
"Do you believe in signs mister?" The boy asked, oh his sweater paws. Taehyun was caught of guard at the sudden question. It couldn't be the guy was flirting right?
"Excuse me?" He asked confusedly, eyes wandering on the boy's bangs down to his shoulder blades and his hands. Oh boy, what a pretty human.
"I asked for it today. If a boy in red hair would approach me then I'll take the test and oh my! You're here. This is crazy, you actually— shocks, that's a TMI." The boy stopped suddenly making Taehyun wanted to gesture him to continue talking.
